The sanctity of marriage continues to take a dive, as the advent of the internet had emboldened random strangers to meet up and get married.

One of the most recent couples to partake in this strange form of union are in the following video. Instead of planning a traditional wedding, they were married in the fast-food place Taco Bell.

  • See, Amber, there’s a legal aspect to marriage, and marriage by the government and marriage by the church are two different things. But then again, who knows? Maybe someday there WILL be a church that will wed a man to his $150 robot pleasure device, but I’m reasonably sure no government would ever grant the pair a marriage license.

  • because they are both consenting adults and can decide what they want to with their own lives. Its no one else’s business but their own. When are people going to realize that there is no such thing as the “sanctity of marriage.” Marriage is a contract between two consenting(usually) adults, as such it cannot be virtuous in itself. The virtuousness of one couple’s marriage has no effect whatsoever on another couple’s.

Where do we draw the line, M.E.? One day it’s same sex couples, the next bringing a complete stranger from the internet into your life…before long are we to accept people can marry objects? Jbox’s newest column really makes a good point on the subject.

  • Shameful Truth

But Amber – women ARE objects to be possessed by their husbands for the purpose of furthering the generational development of the human race, are they not? So, technically speaking of course, is it not already true that it is acceptable to marry an object?
