It has chemical and biological weapons facilities that, because it has never ratified any international agreements (CWC or BWC), are completely unchecked. Israel is hardly defenseless. The Palestinians have modified and left-over Soviet Katyusha rockets... Go look at the death toll to see exactly who the defenseless party in this 'war' is.

Both sides are to blame as for the continuation of violence in the region. Isreal however is far from being the defenseless one.
