17,000 More American Troops To Bring Freedom to Afghanistan

Yesterday President Barack Obama made a very surprising announcement and admitted that Afghanistan was indeed in need of some more freedom, and that the US would be committing 17,000 more troops to ensure it.

This news is surprising as to date it didn’t really seem Obama understood the importance of the War on Terror and how America needs to continue its fight against an intangible idea for the good of mankind, unlike President W. Bush whose superior intellect understood the nuances of such political concepts.

Perhaps there’s hope for our nation yet, as long as the GOP keeps influencing Obama to do good things such as this.
