This is the number of people who have been murdered since the tragic Roe v Wade decision in 1973. It is time to stand up and say no more.

Morality reigns supreme in America today as North Dakota has banned the sin of abortion. Today the good people in North Dakota’s House of Representatives passed a bill that effectively bans abortion and declares a fertilized egg has the full rights of any other person.

We always knew eggs were life and today North Dakota took the first steps of making everyone accepts that fact. Skeptics out there make baseless arguments that life doesn’t start until way late in pregnancy, and that’s preposterous. Here is the proof of fertilized eggs being the same as every single person reading this article:

“Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb? (Job 31:15)

Yet Thou art He who didst bring me forth from the womb; Thou didst make me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. Upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been my God from my mother’s womb. (Psalms 22:9-10)

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the LORD, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself, And spreading out the earth all alone, (Isaiah 44:24)

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5)

For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. (Psalms 139:13-16)

Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you, `Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen. (Isaiah 44:2)

  • Finally we can start applying the death penalty to these women who have abortions.

  • I’m a little concerned about this. My wife and I were unable to conceive a child normally. Last year we finally got our miracle, a 7 lb 8 oz little girl. The last time my wife’s eggs were collected, the time that took, they took 21 eggs. Of those, 17 were fertilized. Only the first one was transfered, and it took. That trip alone resulted in 16 fertilized eggs, that under this law have the full rights of any other person. This was not our first trip to the fertility clinic. Overall we have probably fertilized over 60 eggs. Are we now guilty of over 60 murders?

It sickens me to think of all the menstruations that are left in garbage sacks lining the streets of suburbia. So many potential lives literally thrown away. Just think of all my lost opportunities to fertilize a new life.

  • How can you use the bible as proof??

  • What an ignorant article. And since this is the internet, that is saying something!

By any standards, the bible is not proof of anything – if you are not a christian, then obviously it is meaningless, if you are christian you are, by using the bible as proof, denying faith. So, the person who wrote this article is not a christian.

I propose Old Testament punishment. I would include those responsible for the destruction of any and all life. Wood home builders, ranchers, pharma companies that deal in bacterial-execution drugs, and others should be included. Life is life, human or not…right?

  • I’m for killing babies and against abortion.

  • I was very thrilled to hear about this decision by the North Dakota House. I think the measure passed by something to the tune of 51-40.

Now I can understand a woman’s claim to the right to privacy, and leave that to politicians to hammer out. There is one truth that I think the current definition of life cheats around and that’s what this is going to bring to the forefront when it’s naturally challenged, by liberals, and taken through the courts…

The definition of life ignores the fact that in the womb, a fertilized egg WILL go through a full human life cycle. Barring things like a body naturally ending a pregnancy, which does happen and oft times people do not even know, that fertilized egg will grow, be born as a crying baby and go through a full life cycle.

Now I see it as cheating to not give a human fertilized egg and through being a zygote, embryo fetus or whatever stage or what you want to call it, as equal to a bacteria, as someone up above posted.

We’re talking about a developing life form. The definition of abortion needs to address that fact. When we allow abortion, we’re not just destroying something that’s a little more than a random skin cell or a bacteria. We’re developing a human life that WILL continue to develop unless we decide to actively terminate it.

I have a major problem with that and the language that’s used to typify abortion for that very reason. This North Dakota case will hopefully bring these issues and questions to life.

Liberals have tried to gloss over this for years and many knuckleheaded Christians have been too bent on arguing against abortions based on policy and dogma that they forget to actually look at the definitions to life and what’s really at hand…a developing human life. We need better classifications and better definitions.

  • This is very simply defining when life begins; it DOES NOT BAN abortion as you say. Please do not misinform your readers.

  • THANK GOD FOR ABORTION

  • ‘North Dekota bans abortion’. I thank God every day I’m not an American. At least I’m not a dick who tells a woman what to do with her body.

Actually Jon, the Bible is the word of truth. As such, offering it as irrefutable proof is perfectly fine and I do believe that’s what the author here has done.

To me and this is what I do as well, it’s the same as saying ‘here are the facts.’

  • So tell me. If a woman is raped by a man, and said woman gets pregnant, you don’t think she should have the right to terminate said baby? Because every single time she looks at that child, all it will do is remind her she was raped. Every time that child looks at her, all she’ll be able to think about is that the child she gave birth to was the by-product of the most traumatic experience of her life. Also, by your definition, Plants are alive too. Cutting grass is murder as well, because grass will be born, grow, much as humans do, and eventually die. So I guess cutting the grass should be illegal as well?

  • What right does she have to murder an innocent child?

Praise or Condemn: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

  • I do believe the fact that the bible says “The sins of the father shall be visited upon the sons and further generations beyond.” That means the child isn’t innocent. The child is instantly a rapist, because it’s father was, according to your own religion.

  • It’s so funny how people look at things so black&white. Example: You either kill the baby or have to live with it for the rest of your life. No. I, NOT A CHRISTIAN, believe that, even if raped, there are other options for the baby and the mother. I don’t think that, because the father was a rapist, the same will be for the child too. To even think this is rediculous. (and i know no Christian would agree with you) And imagagine that same girl, the one raped. She grows up and does decide to have kids of her own. After doing so she has an obligation to tell her children of the child she carelessly through away. How does she approach this? And if you think that she DOESN’T have to, believe me, once you hold a child of your own you will regret ever losing the one you disregarded. I truely hope you change your mind. Sure, I believe in abortion in medical emergencies, I AM open-minded, but you are clearly wrong. -Jenny Ann, Lexington Kentucky 15yrs

  • wow. i do think that americans are arrogant too but please believe me the act of banning abortions is not one that we do in order to be a dick. if you could imagine the roads being filled with trashbags that, truely, were filled with fetuses up to 9months, you would understand that eventually we have to get ahold of the imoral female americans that can’t take responsibility for themselves. i do understand in some cases of abortion, but we need to at least put a limit on it. its getting way out of hand :(
