Japanese Now Make Scary Baby Robots
The Japanese continue to roll out new robot technology without any interference by the UN or more importantly, America. Today, Japanese scientists proudly show off their newest creation, the CB2.
CB2 stands for Child Robot with Biomimetic Body. That’s a fancy way for saying ‘it will learn like a baby learns’.
If you walk around a room, its eyes will follow you. If you put an object in its close views of focus, it will track that object and eventually try to reach out for it.
It will also be designed to recognize a human face and intently watch facial expressions, so in time it can be built to mimic (and respond to sounds) associated with each expression. That is as unnatural as you can get, so of course this is wrong on many levels. Let’s have a look.

Just because the Japanese want to built an automaton doesn’t make them evil. Nor does any other part of their culture. The fact that you choose to label things you do not understand shows how ignorant you really are of real life. So they make robots. Big deal. So they have scantily clad women in cartoons. Big deal. If anything, I could say Christians are one billion times worse than any other group on the planet, even other religions. Christians blame half the human populace (e.g. Women) for the sins of the flesh. Christians blame everything that goes wrong on some otherworldly evil rather than their own mistakes. And when a Christian makes a mistake, they call it “sin” and say that the only way to make the mistake right is to submit and say “I screwed up” to another otherworldly being, rather than saying “I screwed up” to another human. Christians, especially the zealots who took over this site from those who were just satiring Christianity, are possibly the least responsible, most heinous people on the planet. And if you say that your piece touched me in some way, and that I’m fighting its viewpoint like a teenager would, you are DEAD WRONG. Sure it touched me. It told me that you are an egotistical prick who thinks they can right the world, but to do it, they must make the entire world think alike. If everyone thought the same, nothing would be worth living for anymore. You, sir, have lost the true meaning of life to the ignominious lies of organized religion. I think the whole thing is a joke, (actually im just viewing this one year later) but I think they are just poking fun at this stuff, it doesn’t sound serious. Also I don’t think you should overgeneralize…these so called “Christians” that you speak of are a diverse group of people with many different views.

I don’t see how that’s scary, sure the way it looks isn’t pretty but it isn’t any different from other bots. Also should let you on a secret that’s gonna blow your mind…THE JAPANESE AREN’T THE ONLY ONES MAKING ROBOTS OR ANY OTHER SUCH ROBOTIC THINGS! Scary isn’t it?
