This is just more proof why we need a Christian Hollywood, ChristyWood I’d call it, so we can have more fine films like this but on a larger budget. The amount of recruitment we can have from this and other higher budget movies like Left Behind and Fireproof would be wonderful.

I really don’t think anybody wants to sit through blatant recruitment films. They might appeal to people who already believe, or people who are interested in this kind of stuff for its kitch value, but by the looks of it, this looks like a terrible film on all accounts.
We do not need a christian hollywood any more than we need a mormon, muslim, scientologist, or raelian hollywood.
If you want to entertain, hollywood is there waiting. If you want to prosilitize, keep it in the church.
