Christian TV Review: South Park Episode Pinewood Derby Online
(Season 12 Episode 6)
The two Jews of the Apocalypse were at it again this week, introducing all sorts of unkosher scientific filth to your children on South Park episode Pinewood Derby.
Parker and Stone’s weekly agenda was to loosen your kids up with subversion, making it look like this episode was common family and Christian values centered. When in reality these two little drug-induced “writers” were doing the unimaginable and preparing your kids to learn how to murder and then laugh at genocide!
My blood boiled with rage and I spat in disgust once I saw where this episode was going. It started off well enough, with father Randy Marsh and his son Stanley constructing a car for the local Pinewood Derby.
This rarely seen traditional nuclear family moment was enhanced when the mom, Sharon, came down the stairs in typical woman fashion and nagged the ‘boys’ for staying up too late. Randy softly rebuked his wife and put her into place, but at that moment also started the show’s common descent into the devil’s sinhole.
Randy used God’s name in vain when condemning his wife’s backtalk.
We could focus on how cussing is so wrong to put in a child’s cartoon, but this episode was so rife with sin that even a Vegas hooker’s 3 a.m. pantiedraws would look pure and holy in comparison.
It was eventually revealed that in order to ensure victory in the race, Randy resorted to stealing. He sneaked to Sweden and visited the demonic CERN Hadron Collider, which is just about the scariest thing on Earth.
For those who don’t know, as you read this review scientists in Sweden are trying to break God’s speed limit. The scientists behind this project are all madmen, crashing particles in their supercollider, all in efforts to create Earth destroying black holes, travel faster than light and finding the “God Particle”. They also like urban black rap music, which shows you Satan has already entered their minds.
At this point the rest of the sin-marinated episode was indeed dripping with the juices of immorality, with things like effeminate space aliens, teaching a child how to murder a person by stabbing him in the neck and showing kids that nuclear war is a fun thing by nuking everyone in Finland for telling the truth.
Yes, they taught children that if you tell the truth, you may get killed. Sounds like the type of threat a homogay supporting writer would make to a scared, unsuspecting child, but we won’t get into that today.
The main focus is, again, this show trying to make our kids think the Large Hardon Collider is a good thing. There is nothing moral or safe about creating anti-matter. There is nothing nice about trying to bend God’s time and spaec! I am so furious right now my hands tremble as I type.
Man just may very well bring Armageddon to Earth through this machine. It rips space-time, is looking for anti-matter and eventually you can bet 666 will pop up on its instrument display because it has created the Anti-Christ.
My friends, Parker and Stone have no morals and this episode proves again why we must demand they censor their show or get boycotted. They market this dangerous gambling propaganda to our elementary school aged children, raping their pure and innocent minds with all sorts of uncouth ideas.

As a Christian, sure i understand the program is not exactly the right idea for good programming, but I think that you as a christian need to stop slagging things off and telling people how wrong they are. In what world has this show ever been aimed toward children? It is aired on Comedy Central, an adult network, at 10pm. In addition, a large mature warning it tacked onto the show. Parker and Stone are clearly not marketing this show towards elementary school children. The responsibility of teaching morals to children lies solely on each parent’s shoulders. Parker and Stone cannot be punished simply because children too young to understand the humor and irony are taking away the wrong ideas. If you were to work towards banning or censoring this show, you would be tarnishing the very freedoms that allow you to write this article. Why cencor the show? Just make sure that your children don’t see the show if you think it’s “immoral”. Lazy parents make ME angry. 1. South Park and Family Guy are not children’s shows, they are aimed at adults.
2. Some of us like these shows, so if you have a problem with them, don’t watch them.
3. There is nothing wrong with being gay. It’s a natural, genetic process.
4. You cannot use the Bible as an argument against undisputable scientific fact which is backed up by empirical evidence.
5. God does not exist.
6. If the CERN Large Hadron Collider proves th non-existance of God (which it ultimately will) our planet will be much better off for it.

At the very basic level, a responsible part of journalism is informing citizens about causes in which you believe. I believe that destructive television media is negatively influencing our children.
Sure, South Park may come advertised with a MA label but it still does not preclude children from viewing the show, having access to it online and I’m not 100% certain, but I do recall the show being on television before 10pm during the off season.
I have a problem with seeing children with South Park merchandise and video games, and the show is clearly marketed strongly to a middle school to younger high school aged demographic. Elementary school children ARE very well apprised of these episodes. Plus, it’s a cartoon, children will take interest.
The show’s creators know this, the producers know this and Comedy Central well understands the point, from the basic workers all the way out to their marketing/advertising departments. This show is one of many that’s negatively influencing culture and I will continue to write about this show, among others, to keep the public informed and create regulatory pressure for these networks.
In my experience of speaking to tv writers and producers, they are often time inclined to agree with concerns I voice or negative trends that may be directly influenced by their creations. Some will shrug shoulders and attest, ‘that’s just the way it is’, while others say they have certain ‘racy criteria’ they have to meet. Some, like Parker and Stone, relish in destroying the innocence of children.
