ChristWire Youth And Spin Me Right, Jesus, Right Round Now (CW Youth Night Praise)
There is nothing more enthralling than seeing our youth in worship, and even though their music may get a little out there (along with their clothing choices!), there is no mistaking the spirit of their inspired praise.
Last night was very exciting and broke convention. For those of you who missed it, better be there next Friday! It’s not always just playing music, mini-sermons and heading to the Iced Yo’ afterward. Sometimes you have to get so down home with your worship that you kick off your socks and shoes, and wave those socks in praise!
Here’s the video for those of you who missed out this week and I HOPE to see you all here next week.

It’s interesting to me that this Christian group would borrow a song from the English Band “Dead or Alive” since the frontman, Pete Burns, is openly bi-sexual. Aren’t you Fundamentalists a little worried that this might send the wrong message to the children?
WON’T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!

um, worshipping Jesus? how? dancing to a good beat w/ a catchy and repetitive chorus (ad nauseum) that has an idea nowhere to be found in Scripture?
hmmm, when i read the Bible i see Jesus as a Savior from sin, who was nailed upon a cross to bear the wrath of God for the sins of His people which should have sent them to everlasting Hell.
no offence, but as a Christian, this is offensive. moses did not take off his socks & spin them around when he encountered the presence of Yahweh; the whole context is given to show the infinite holiness of God, and sinful man’s unworthiness to stand in His presence.
these people are filled with a spirit, but i’m not so sure if it the HOLY Spirit. as an unbeliever who used to listen to metal, this kind of phenomenon is not new. loud music, a bunch of rowdy teens, and voila, something that almost is the same as this decrepid show of ‘spirituality’.
this is wrong on so many levels, and i’m ashamed that unbelievers watch this trash & think this is what Christianity it, namely, a lame spin-off which is 10 years too late.
if you want to stir up true Christians, talk about the redemption that Christ purchased for us as undeserving sinners; remind me that though i deserve Hell, i get pleasures forevermore in God’s presence. this makes me want to sing & dance.
for those who few cheated b/c they missed it; perhaps it was a sovereign blessing in disguise.
church….er, the true church, let’s get back to our Bibles & discern every spirit that is offered to us. this nonsense is so unbiblical on so many levels. God have mercy on those who lead, for they will have to give a stricter account before God.
