    [poll id="3"]

Last week European scientists made a startling announcement in which they claimed they discovered a common ancestor of humanity; a 47-million-year-old lemur monkey fossil named Ida.

The fossil was discovered 25 years ago in Germany, and several secular evolutionary scientists have forwarded the suggestion that this “Ida” is like the “aunt” of humanity, due to her having a talus bone, thumbnails and digits resembling thumbs.

While such notions have been heralded us preposterous by many, there are still others who feel this lemur monkey is humanity’s true ancestor. Please vote in the preceding poll to express your thoughts on this issue (poll closes on March 31, 2009).
