Ron Howard, director of The Da Vinci Code, Apollo 13, and other great films has done it again. Angels & Demons, the sequel of the smash hit Da Vinci Code, puts Professor Robert Langdon, staring Tom Hanks, in the middle of the underground war between the Vatican and the Illuminati for the secret of the origin of the universe. This movie is freaking awesome.

I loved the Da Vinci Code on the premise of it being a good suspense movie, exempting the fact it was about searching the Holy Grail, which was the body of Jesus wife Mary Magdalene and his descendant, played by the lovely actress Audrey Tautou.

On the premise of religion, it was a very good burn and a shock that Sophie (Audrey Tautou) was a descendant of Jesus and was a atheist. It was just as good as the scene from the season finale of Supernatural where Dean found out that God wasn’t running the show and the Angels wanted to start the Apocalypse as well as the Demons.

Anyways. Angels & Demons is a very well done film. Good story, good casting, good action. Based upon the Spill.com system, Angels & Demons is a pure Matinee by the hosts; my review is it’s a Better Than Sex movie. You could make a d20 Dark Matter campaign based off the story or even has tie-ins.

I called first dibs Dan. Is it safe?
