There you go again, attacking me. According to your Fundamentalist defense, if Eve’s and Adam’s genome were different, their children would either
A. reproduce with their parents
or
B. reproduce with each other.

Unless there were other humans (which would go against the bible in the first place), incest would have had to occur. Use some logi–oh wait, Fundies don’t have logic.

Being a man raised in a Christian household myself, this disgusts me. It is stuff like this that gives conservatives, men, and Christians the bad reputations they have today. If women really are the epitome of sin, why are the majority of rapes, murders, thefts, burglaries, and violent crimes committed primarily by men? Why are most persons incarcerated in prisons today men?

Similarily, that ridiculous video points out that “Hitler was raised by a single mother”. True, of course, but that doesn’t stop the fact that Hitler himself was a man. No matter how well or poorly that single mother raised him, I doubt she’s the one who instilled his “final solution” into him. The following individuals were also men: the Zodiac Killer, Benito Mussolini, Al Capone, Jack the Ripper, Josef Stalin, Osama bin-Laden, Pontius Pilate, King Herod, and Judas, to name a few.

Saying that women are inherently evil because one woman screwed up is like saying that those of European descent are inherently mass murderers because one man decided to round up and exterminate Jews; would you consider that to be a just assumption? Yet the same principle is what is used to demonize women today.

And, to the statement “What was she doing out in a secret garden by herself, frolicking around naked and making merry with a talking sin serpent?” This to this day is unknown, but is easily countered by the question “What was Adam doing during those boring first few weeks alone in a garden by himself, naked?”

You just proved the article’s point. If Adam had went to Eve and just said “No” when she brought the apple, we would not have sin. Even something as horrible as sexual attacks would not have taken pl.ace. It’s all due to Eve. Adam thought he could trust her, and she lead him to sin as well. Now we all suffer. So, yes, a man needs to keep a woman in place. Adam failed to do that and look where it got us.

why is it uncalled for? I’m a bit offended by it, true, but you did say she and all other females were inferior to you, because their great-great some odd grandmother sinned? In case you didn’t read the book of Genesis, Adam ate the fruit right after her, so we can’t really say that men have always taken the sin-free path.
When I first started reading this article, I held bated breath, waiting for some kind of actual evidence to argue over. Instead, what I think I just read was sexist garbage, with a few verses added in to make it look pretty.

“Men, we were created with more fortitude and penchant for good than the lesser species. And as such, it is up for us to keep women on the moral path. Even if they came running at you and demanding all types of lustful sins, you put them in their place. “No”.”
So, what you’re saying is that every case of rape over the past 3 centuries has been the fault of women. Riight…
