One of the finest examples of a journalist, Walter Cronkite, has passed away. He was 92.
Walter was the fatherly voice and figure that broke stories to America in a style of dignity, poise, grace and elegance that is simply just not present in journalism any more.
His coverage of news stories, his presence filling many households across the country, was a reality for the cohorts of many generations. His contribution to this country and our media will definitely be missed and hopefully not forgotten. Everyone can learn something from this great man. Thanks, and goodnight, Mr. Cronkite.
