Logic points to the event planners as the cause of this issue, yet you are blaming the reporters. If the event coordinators had set aside a less intrusive space for the reporters (who were invited, btw, and did not "sneak" in as you suggested), there would not be an issue; the reporters could do their job and the people who paid to attend would be able to hear. Oh but wait! They did set aside space for the reporters! Except too many people showed up and they had to add more seats to the back of the room in exactly the same area that the reporters were placed. Your bitterness is misguided and misplaced.
