Attack on Hero Halderman: To have arrested the person attempting to expose your sex crimes is disgusting. Letterman has no shame. He could have admitted his activities and surrendered to the police. Instead, he hired a bunch of high-priced lawyers who fooled the local authorities into arresting Investigative Journalist Robert Halderman. I pray that Halderman is preparing a countersuit.

Lets start with the first part: Blackmail is a crime. Sex is not.
Second Part: He admitted to having sex with co-workers on national television. He didn’t commit a crime so why would he surrender to the police?
Third Part: How exactly did they fool the local authorities? He told them of a crime being committed against him.

However, I have re-read my post, several times, and found a few thing that could easily be misinterpreted. When I said “Billings is called an Investigative Journalist, and, I believe, he refers to what he writes on this site as articles.” I was in no way trying to imply that you a not an Investigative Journalist, nor was I trying to imply that what you write are not article. My intent was to say that, because the site that you contribute to says you are an Investigative Journalist, Claire’s opinion on whether you are one was irrelevant to the point that I was trying to make. I qualified the statement with “I believe” because I couldn’t remember where you had refereed to what you had written as an article. Again, I’m not saying that you don’t write articles. I’m saying that other people’s opinions on the subject are irrelevant.

I know almost nothing about Letterman’s current situation. I don’t even own a TV and I think the last time I saw his show was over ten years ago. I have no idea whether any of things you said about him in your article are false and I certainly would not say that they were without a substantial amount of evidence to back it up. I was merely stating that if you did make false accusations it would considered libel instead of slander.
As far as my knowing the age of consent in New York is concerned there are many possible explanations for that which do not involve me being a “pervert”. I could have a job in law enforcement, be a lawyer, or even just an intern at a law office. I could have a friend or family member that has studied law. It’s even possible that I just watch a lot of Court TV, or at least it would be if I hadn’t already told you that I don’t own a TV. My point is that saying I’m a pervert because I happen to know a random fact about New York is akin to calling me a terrorist because I know the ingredients in gun powder, or saying that the reason I know that the kiwi, despite it’s appearance, officially has the smallest beak of any known bird is because I’m a bird rapist.

The actual reason I know these things is that I have a nigh eidetic auditory memory and I heard someone mention them once. If you’re unfamiliar with the term it just means that if I hear something I tend to remember it. Most people use the the term photographic memory, but my visual recall is not very good so I prefer eidetic.

To answer your questions: I have no way of knowing how much free time you have. If I had guess I would say enough time to respond to a perceived slight against your character, but not enough to refute it or say what it was. Though I didn’t know this off hand, five minutes of research revealed that the age of consent in Kuala Lumpur, along with the rest of Malaysia, is 16. And to answer the question that you didn’t ask, I have never had sex with any one that was under the age of 18, or over the age of 17 for that matter

Provided this site is not a satire I hope that most sane people realize that everything on this site is a horrible way of thinking and reject everything this site stands for.
