Riots At UCLA Over New Tuition Hikes of 32%
It’s a well known fact that US colleges gouge prices, forcing parents to spend far too much to send children through a quality collegiate education.
This is largely due to how Democrats have their hands directly in America’s education system, stoking a system that encourages bureaucratic waste and greed.
The University of Californica, Los Angeles (UCLA), recently proposed increasing the tuition of all students by 32%. With a daughter in college there right now, I nearly boarded a plane and was going to join in the protests.
There is paying a respectful amount for college, which is fine, then their is sheer exploitation. I know Obama is president and thinks it’s a game to rip into our wallets without just cause, but 32% increase in tuition on students? The very people who will power our economy once they get an education?
Sure, some will say that those in need can get government aid, but guess what? That just means more taxes, and on top of that, loans for students. Here is footage of some rioting from UCLA:
