Sodomy Is Never The Answer

One of the growing tragedies we have in the United States is the new popularity of sodomy during intercourse. Ever since the homosexual lifestyle became so visible and popular, straight couples have been tempted to experiment with this incredibly painful fornication situation. Now, to avoid pregnancy more and more teen girls are giving in to peer pressure and trying this extreme hardcore sexual perversionary act. Sadly, many people today are unaware that sodomy is Biblically immoral and that it’s extremely unclean and unhealthy.
Sodomy can trace its origins to the homosexual world. Gays have always been keenly fascinated in violating themselves in perverse, anti-Christian ways. Whether it’s destroying marriage or turning good-natured boys into transvestites, they have no self-control when it comes to depravity.
In this select subculture, men who take the active role during sodomy are awarded special status among their peers. In the gay dialect, there are over 100 words to describe this coveted “top” man. These types often garnish their persona by adopting an exaggerated masculinity– flannel shirts, hard hats, leather costumes, work boots, thick black chest hair, gym bodies, mustaches. On the flip side, the “receiver” adorns himself like an anxious peacock to attract a mate with colorful clothing, flippant hand gestures and a high voice. When these two types come together, it is a ritual dance too absurd to witness.
As the gays have become so trendy in today’s fast-paced popular culture, they have raised the public visibility of sodomy during intercourse. An increasing number of heterosexual couples have seen this and said to themselves, “Why not?” One of my favorite books in my personal library is “Sodomy: The Sickest Sin on Earth” by Dr. Dennis Corle (he’s also the author of “Backyard Football!” for kids). In the book, Dr. Corle makes a fantastic case for sodomy being quite sinful and dangerous. Both Leviticus and Romans distinctly note that God does not like sodomy at all. This should be obvious to any Christian. But what are the social implications?
For married couples, the interest in sodomy comes out of physical frustration or boredom. As years of marriage drag on, men and women seek new thrills to feel that same rush of their first copulation experience. What these couples really need is to find pleasure in parenting, to take joy in the athletic and academic successes of their children, to be humble but hardworking members of their community, whether it’s being more active in your church or volunteering to fight the homeless. Unfortunately, when adults overlook these responsibilities they go down a sinful path of danger seeking. When the allure of sodomy wears off, what comes next? Role-playing in outfits, whips and chains and exhibitionism? Is that the type of parent you want to be? Consider the possible sodomite end-game before you experiment with your wife’s body.
For unwed heterosexual couples, this sodomy trend provides special challenges. Females gain no erotic pleasure from this type of relationship, while men enjoy the sin and violation of it all. It debases a woman’s purity and good name and men get jollies from this. The sodomized woman becomes totally unmarriable. She is a used object, not the pretty nice girl a guy wants to take home to mother. Once a woman submits to this arrangement, there is no going back. The man will demand anal activity again and again. The only answer is for the woman to avoid talking about the subject at all costs and if confronted with the idea directly, to say with complete authority: Never!
Teens believe sodomy is a cool thing to do. It’s like cigarettes and MTV– something they want to try because their parents hate it. Anal intercourse provides our children an easy way to experiment with sex without the fear of pregnancy. But it really isn’t fun. In fact, hard sodomy can be quite upsetting for a girl. This type of experimentation can also lead young men to try new things, to pull the same trick on their fellow boys. As we have seen with other gateways, the unformed morality of a teen boy is susceptible to many, many influences. Sodomy can become that special gateway to a life of alluring homosexuality.
This is a critical issue for parents and one that is most definitely not being taught in our poorly managed public schools. Today’s educators may hand out free condoms and talk about homosexual lust, but no teacher is going to admit that sodomy is downright painful. It falls to the parents to address this issue with their kids. It will not be easy, but it is essential. I feel the sodomy talk is significant enough to be a separate conversation than the “birds and the bees” talk. Stress to your young boys and girls that this is a health and hygiene issue. Be very clear that anal sex is never fun. Tell your girls that sodomy is not a guilt-free way to avoid pregnancy. Tell your boys that sodomy can hurt their friends emotionally and that it can make them weak whether they play the “top” or the “bottom”.
Together, parents can fight sodomy with a concerted public information campaign. We have to reach out to our kids and tell them that there’s nothing “cool” or “trendy” about it. But it’s just as vital that we remind ourselves that this type of sexual temptation is not worth the risk. The purity of our souls is just too important to gamble away by hard and lustful anal fornication.

first of all, that image of a gay person is stereotypical. Most gay people will never look like that. second, like always, your claims are ridiculous. How is sodomy the worst possible sin? I’ll tel you something that I consider the worst possible sin, something someone in my family experienced. A father raping his daughter almost every night for five years and brainwashing her to think its her fault. That is the worst possible sin in my book. How is sodomy even that bad? I personally wouldn’t do it cause it doesn’t appeal to me, but I don’t care if other people do it. I also don’t care if gay people have sex or get married. Why? because it doesn’t affect me. I am a Christian. I believe in free will. God gave us all free will to do what we want. If some people choose to be gay that’s there choice. What right do we have from preventing them from being happy just because we don’t agree with it? When did we become judges? Who cares if they get married or have sex? how does that even affect you?

As a young, open-minded American I would like to challenge you:
Number One…do your research, Sir. I am a recent college graduate who studied at a Lutheran College in Minneapolis. From my studies (including a ten page research paper on the topic of Pedophilia in Ancient Greek Times) I can assure you that your statement:

Is terribly naive and lacks all credibility. Sodomy, which, by the way can consist of MORE than just anal, traces back all the way to Ancient Greece where it was NOT ONLY PRACTICED REGULARLY but a RIGHT OF PASSAGE to become a “man” in that society. Men were expected to take young boys (“beloved”) as lovers. The older man became a mentor and helped the boy transition into becoming a well respected citizen. All of these men had wives and children of their own, mind you. They were “heterosexual”. So before you state that “Sodomy can trace its origins to the homosexual world” get your facts right. It traces back further than “homosexuality” which, by the way, is a term coined by an overtly “heterosexual world”.

Actually the bible does not prohibit sex with your children. Lot did it while hiding in the mountains with his daughters for instance. Now obviously these werent 6 year olds but the definition of a marriable and thus sexualized age biblically is vastly different from a modern one. The bible does however say no butt sex clearly. Of course it also has no real prohibitions against slavery,marital rape,(or rape in general really given how many old school bible fellas passed off women to subdue mobs and such), or righteous killing(for those people who thing the big ten say” thall shalt not kill” you need to reread the root word it was translated from. To be honest, EVERY gay man has their reasons for being sexually inclined to appreciate their same sex gender. For MOST its not a choice, its either your attracted or your not. For me however I HAVE dated women (I still havent done anything with either sex….marriage first) but felt that life was nothing but a grey material life that felt like it shouldnt exist. Every boy in school dating a girl, making out with them and doing what they want to do because they are attracted…. but Imagine liking a girl, and not being able to see her as being arousing in any way, sure shes beautiful, shes fun to be around, but a lack of a security in finding someone to hold onto to get the same feeling that women get from holding a man, some men feel that longing to be held by bigger arms, and whispered to be a deep sultry tone and finding more attraction in the same gender. Failing to identify what “true love” should be, should have an unconditional factor, and having to marry someone based off of sex should not be a factor, it should be about the best friend/lover you could possibly have as your partner someone you would grow old with and love unconditionally for life. There is also a high percentage of gay men that DON’T participate in sodomy, but to admire and adorn a body they know best and practicing oral. Biased opinions is what makes this such a horrible read, telling people they are wrong for having their own beliefs is a dick move, and if I were anywhere in the vacinity of the writer of this blog, I would have suggested they send their own body off a bridge into an oncoming bus route underpass (Just an opinion and a probable suggestion that would make some happy ^_^). Not every gay man is stereotypically flambouyant, and dainty like the writer suggests and nor are all gay men into bondage and leather/chains. Straight people couldnt deny that SOME out there that are straight use the same sexual tools to further their pleasure. Wow, a friend told me to read this because it was hilarious….they were so right! This is the exact reason that I usually don’t read anything online that has to do with religion…if the atheists aren’t insulting my beliefs, people of the same faith as me are making themselves look ridiculous.
First off, I’ve had gay friends (never knew they were gay until they “came out of the closet” much later, or brought it up later when prior to that I had no clue!)…and this stereotype of them is just horrible. It’s ignorance like this that really steams my clams. I know someone who has told me they have sodomized before, and last I checked they didn’t dress up like any of the stereotypes you’ve described here. There’s nothing wrong with them, either, they’re not broken or demoralized. They are no different from someone who practices in “regular” sex.
And whose to say that sodomy is that much worse than regular intercourse? Since when were there no risks to sex? Last I checked, a large amount of people suffer from STD’s. Not to mention the risk of pregnancy, which yes, I would list as a health risk (I am the child of a mother with high blood pressure, and had to be a c-section as a result of that).
I’m not trying to say that sodomy is the answer, either. However, it’s not like teens these days are just sitting there going, “Hey baby, wanna sodomize?”. It’s an act that I’ve been told takes building up to. Many people, like me, don’t find it appealing at all (including today’s children/teenagers). Just like with regular sex, there’s health risks. I have searched for so long for what has been troubling me, and I just couldn’t find the answer. I turned to politics, but it always just told me what everyone else thinks is good, and none of their ideas seemed to work for me. I then turned to drugs and alcohol, but I ended up just having way too much fun. After this I thought about philosophy. Philosophy was good at making me more aware of what I didn’t know, and thus I was more troubled. What could I do?

What the hell was religion going to do for me? I mean the blood and flesh was delicious, but I’m not going to base my life around juicy fruit and poorly made matzah. Finally, after much cottaging with people I had met in church, I had the answer – Sodomy.

I haven’t seen m’haym-na carry the meaning of a celibate yet. But perhaps m’haym-na carried the meaning of a celibate from the males who were castrated. The last part of the verse is referring to believers that castrated themselves (or perhaps became celibate) for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.

A second evidence where the Bible shows that eunuchs are gay males is in (Daniel 14:2 NAB), which says: “Daniel was the king’s favorite and was held in higher esteem than any of the friends of the king.” In the Aramaic OT, the word friends is replaced with the Aramaic word rakh-maw-hi, which means lovers. Rakh-maw-hi is from the singular Aramaic word rakh-ma, which means love. Chapters 13-14 are in the Catholic canon of scripture. The Aramaic OT contains fourteen chapters of Daniel. The Aramaic text of Daniel also has “the song of the three children” (Or, “Prayer of Hananiah and his companions” – Aramaic name for that portion) after verse twenty-three of Chapter Three. Dr. Lamsa, being a Protestant, just left out the additional parts of Daniel and Esther, plus the Deuterocanical books. Dr. Lamsa did leave a extra sentence in verse 23 that is not in the Masoretic text, but in the Aramaic and Greek text of Daniel. The OT book of Daniel in either the Aramaic or Greek text agree more with each other in regards to content than they do with the Masoretic text; so they are a possible faithful witness of the original content of Daniel. Forgeries are not usually the same in different nations with different languages.

One of the main scriptures used to condemn homosexuality is Leviticus 18:22. The Hebrew word “Toevah” was improperly translated as abomination. Toevah actually means a “breaking of ritual law” and more aptly refers to the prohibition of “crossing cultural boundaries”. The Israelites did not UNDERSTAND the practise of having a love, or eros, for the same sex. What was right and good in one culture was not right and good according to the Israelites. This doesn’t make it wrong by any means; it was simply a cultural boundary that the Hebrews would not cross because they did not understand it, nor did they take the time necessary to understand it.
So, everything that religionists base the prohibition of the homosexual lifestyle on is completely based on a mistranslation. That makes their point fully null and void.
As is legally recognised, marriage is a contract between two people, regardless of sex, that simply grants two people the legal responsibility of taking care of each other’s secular affairs. The ONLY thing sacred, if that’s the term one wishes to choose, is the love (and this encompasses the Greek terms Agápe, an unconditional love for one’s children, spouse, or people considered as “family”; Éros, an affectionate love afforded to one’s partner with whom one is involved passionately, erotically; Philia, a love one would have for a friend; and, last but not least, Storge, a close counterpart to Agápe, or even Philia) that a person, or persons, feels for another person, or persons. Love is boundless and is controlled by no law.
