Smallville Season 9 Episode 8, Idol – Christian TV Review
Smallville is a dangerous children’s show that tries to teach youngsters that magical Jewish aliens can fly, shoot fire from their eyes and masquerade about as the lord of the Earth.
This week’s show was no exception in the danger factor, as the title of the episode itself was “Idol”.
The Bible specifically dictates that NO ONE can worship an idol, and yet in this episode Clark Kent, the “savior” of the show, was being worshiped as a god by two magical kids named the Wonder Twins.
While the Wonder Twins were busy constructing giant S shaped monuments in the name of the Jewlien, the show’s resident harlot Lois Lane was having improper dreams about fornication under a devilishly red Sun.
I became so distraught with all the magic, the character’s making each other aroused with sin and worshiping false idols that I just turned off the last ten minutes. The show is just far too sick.

Yes, Jesus was a Jew, but then the Jews betrayed him and ever since they have been damned for eternal damnation, except of course for the ones who convert, and that damnation has been physically manifested in the horns that appear on top of their heads, which is why they wear those stupid little condom cap things all the time.

that show isn’t trying to teach anyone anything.
it’s trying to entertain by telling a good story. sure the show may have a moral from time to time but that doesn’t make it evil.
also learn to see the difrence between a kids show and a teen show it’s not the same. also look up the meaning of the word idol because it has more than 1 meaning and in this case it’s not what you think.
seriously if you think that show is trying to teach me that i can fly then we really need to ban the bible. i mean that shit teaches me that i can come back from the dead and that burning bushes talk and other such insane crap

I think that you are a rasist an have no right to speak in the name of the holly bible or the chirch. In fact the whole series is deicated to being good and as long as ppl know that it’s just a siries it’s quite a good thing. And Idoling is not neccessery worship you know. Jewish? I don’t know where that comes from. The show was about Superman as a kid. Why nothing about that? The show has become too “steamy” for kids,that I will grant you. I especially take issue with the one that was on this past Friday (apr 2 2010) where Clark and Lois ( who were taking it slow, I thought)take off on a weekend getaway and meet Cloe and Oliver who are just there to fool around (“our favorite indoor past time” – Cloe) Cloe insists that she wants no complications. This is teaching young girls that they could be treated with respect while engaging in this behavior– which is not the case. Youngsters are impressionable, and that episode looks like it is attempting to send a message that no Christian parent would want sent to their kids. I say its time to write the producers (one of them is the star) and let them know that their kids will not be watching and why,and then turn them off!
No wonder the father left the show, the actor who played him is a Christian
