The Rev Avenged Sevenfold drummer dies at 28, The Rev and Band Had Early Drug Use
The Rev of band Avenged Sevenfold was found dead in his Huntington Beach home today. He was 28.
The Rev’s actual name is James Owen Sullivan, who was found “unresponsive” by unconfirmed parties.
While natural causes are currently being listed as the cause of death, an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the actual cause of death.
Though they currently tried to act like they did not have origins in drug-induced music of Satan, it is purported fact that band members experimented with drugs and did live the ‘rock n’ roll’ lifestyle, perhaps best shown when MTV gave them a music award in 2006.
Though tragic, this is more evidence of why drugs and a fast-paced lifestyle are dangerous things that should be avoided. 28-years-of age is far too young to pass away. Thoughts to Sullivan’s friends and family during this time.

it’s truly tragic when a person dies. yet if he really did die of drugs then true it was to some extend his own fault that such a tragidy ocured.

No. NO. Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands, and The Rev was one of my favorite people in the world. He was an extremely talented drummer. He could fucking PLAY.
Drug use? No. You don’t know these guys. The Rev wasn’t one of those “crazy satanic rock and rollers who are out to get me!!!”. Don’t make up lies about him. He just fucking died, show some fucking respect. I don’t care if this site is fake or real. Whoever wrote this, show some respect. This goes for everything.
Yes, 28 is way too young to die…but he wasn’t a drug addict. You can’t make assumptions about him just because he was in a Rock band.

okay for one thing if you will read more into what ur writing about, Avenged Sevenfold (the name it self coming from the bible), who actualy have a song called “dear GOD” and ive been to one of ther concerts and they keep saying to keep the soldiers in your prayers and stuff like that. how do u consider that “Satan music”. James Sullivan was NOT a drug addict. and neither are any of the other members. if u listen to there music you will even hear bible refrences so i never want to see anything about my hero and best drummer of all time on here again.

You people are pathetic excuses of Christians who pass judgment amongst others in this world. Did the bible also say to not judge or have you over-passed that to in hopes of achieving a more personally fitting religion? The Rev was a man of great talent which all to often spells the end for many of the people in this world, some people may even call his talent a God given gift but regardless, let he without sin be the first to condemn. Your hands are not clean either and to pass judgment upon a brother will lead to your ultimate downfall and let’s face it, you won’t be missed.

Here’s one for ya:
Rev had an enlarged heart which he had to take Rx meds for. Rev also enjoyed a couple drinks sometimes. Heart meds+alchol=not a good mix. He did not abuse drugs or alcohol…the alcohol just reacted in a way that killed him. Research your facts ignorant fuck! RIP Rev…foREver loved and missed. Rock on A7X!!!

This is not right.
Jimmy’s tragic death was accidental. He was not a drug addict.
Avenged Sevenfold is not a satanic band.
I, however, do have to thank the author of this for being somewhat respectful and not completely bashing A7X or Jimmy.
