My fellow Comrads
A war is brewing between the most vicious of cliches of today! First and foremost please allow me to explain what these cliches are.
The Goths:(Otherwise known in the slang of slang, The Gothics or Gothics) The gothic community are very intelligent individuals who have been cast out and away from normal society. They can adapt to whatever surrounding they so choose, but however they do have their imperfections. They do tend to stand out and get made fun of or are teased until they hit a breaking point. Once that breaking point is hit they can lash out at anyone whether it be friend or foe; teacher or parent. So, before you tease them or make fun of them take caution in doing so. The gothic community is not perfect by any means. As a matter of fact, they enjoy the fact that they are not perfect like their ultimate rivals, the Preppy cliche. Goths usually where thos huge pants called, “tripps” (produced by a company in New York called, “Tripp”). That is accompanied by a black top of some nature whether it be a T-Shirt, tank top, corset for the ladies, or collared shirt. As far as, the shoe type goes… that may vary along with the season. In the summer time they will where sandals of some kind. Spring more than likely, sandals or closed in shoes. For the Fall and Winter, they will begin the usual fashion of boots. The hair styles can definitely vary! Usually sticking with the colors of black and red in a range of sizes and styles I can’t even type because it is so long. But there are the other colors such as the neon spectrum, and blak light colors. And of course the deeper colors such as, velvet red, dark gray, and deeper blues and violets. Make up is not usually a concern for the Gothic community. If they choose to where it then that is their choice. But, for the most part, they choose not to. Goths are the more in depth cliche that any other cliche out there! There are a range of gothic types: The Romantigoth, Punk Goth, Metal goth, and bondage goth.
The Romantigoth is more delicate of the gothic types. Polite, kind, caring, and chivalrous (for lack of a better word). The Punk Goth is more outragous colors and fashions that are way out there! They are known for favoring the mohawk. More laid back and party goers than some. The Metal Goth is loud music and chains, and some drugs. Party goers just like the Punk Goths, but more or less new metal music than anything. And, finally, the Bondage Goth. They are very hardcore lovers. Mostly found with no hair if anything and leading their counterparts around on a spiked leash and collar. Usually wearing chains, leathers, and spikes.
The Emotionals: (More commonly known as Emos) The Emo cliche is the most pitiful of the cliches of today! They are called Emos because they are always feeling down and wanting to end their lives by cutting themselves. Thus the name, Emos. They are the kids with the sad black hair covering one side of their face, cuts up and down their wrists, and striped clothing that hugs their bodies so tight one might wonder how they even got into them. The emo kids are usually the kids who have ADD, ADHD, or something of similar calibur. Emos are often by fellow emos and deciding how they’re going to cut themselves or how they can make other people feel sorry for them that day. They all dress the same way, both guys and girls. Tight fitting clothes that make one have to think if they are guys or girls. Tight pants belong to your girlfriend, or your sister. Not you, emo boys. The samething goes for your emo makeup! Those are for girls! Emos commonly listen to emo bands such as: Greenday, Coldplay, and Bullet For My Valentine. Emos have tried to combine preppy fashions and Goth fashions so that they can be accepted into either cliche and as we can see that didn’t go so well. They are just emos. They are trying to take over the Gothic store, “Hot Topic”. Other Goths are not happy about this! The Emos have already converted the fashions to their liking and goths are not happy about this! so… … …
The Juggalo/Juggalette: The Juggalo community is the community with their faces paited white and black to mimic the founders of the community; Jay and Shaggy2Dope. They are the body of ICP or(Insane Clown Posse). Juggalos are more commonly smart individuals just as the goths are. But, Juggalos are more or less free spirited people of all ages. Not necessarilly sticking to one fashion but a key habit of them is to wear what they call, “The Hatchet Man” around them or on them at some point or another. ICP is the most obvious music selection, though they do listen to other types of music, ICP is preferred by them. They do tend to do lots of drugs usually over the counter type but in some cases they do find the illegal kind to their liking. They also require, “Faygo” which is a caffinated beverage that is quite rare in most stores of today. It can be the equivilant to the Mountain Dew type drink. Juggalos are not gang related in any way, shape, or form! They can be vicious because they are protective of one another and one another’s family, but that doesn’t mean that they are always like that.
So now that you know a little bit about each of these groups, the cause for such a war is greatly needed! The cause of this brewing war is simply a store called, “Hot Topic”. That’s all it is. The Goths had it first. It was their from the very beginning. Then the Emos decided to get in on this and try to convert the store’s fashions to their liking. Goths didn’t like that. Juggalos also shop there. They didn’t necessarily like the Emos’ fashions either so they converted some of the fashions to their liking. The Emos struck back by putting color into the store along with the sad hair and tight clothes. The Goths retreated and are planning something greater. While the Juggalos and Emos are battling for the open slot for now.
That is why the war is brewing. Because of a store. And what’s worse is that the ultimate rival of the Goths is trying to take the store over as well. That’s just dumb! So now you know. I truly hope the Gothic community can overtake their territory back and return to their ways of being themselves. If not, then a even greater war will rage between all of the cliches.
