Motivated Christian Teens Wanted For “Gay” Agenda Truth Camp
Children today face a difficult time in our fast-paced culture dealing with issues of sexuality. On television and on their computers, explicit content and radical lifestyles are thrust into their faces with very little Christian counterpoint. How can we teach our young ones to navigate this treacherous environment and come out winners? One group has come up with a fantastic answer: A Truth Academy to Train Youth on How to Fight “Gay” Agenda!
In the tradition of our great Christian camping trips for young people, Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) is holding this special training session in August aimed at Christian teens aged 14 and up with sexual issues. And Christwire is here to do our part! In support of this wonderful opportunity, we are now looking for young men who wish to attend this “rigorous, 3-day program featuring some of the leading pro-family experts on homosexuality in the Culture War.” Any young men between the ages of 14 and 21 who sign up will be sponsored by the Christwire team and have their event expenses covered. As for the youth scholarships, this is an entirely different thing and meant to encourage adults to send money to AFTAH to sponsor young people to attend. As explained VERY CLEARLY on their website:

…isn’t Christianity about turning the other cheek? Don’t you think it’s a bit…UN-Christian to be taking the bait for all these comments against you, and fighting back with just as much animosity and lack of compassion? The difference between you and them is that you CLAIM to be Christian, whereas they don’t. Therefore, you are THEORETICALLY abiding by a different set of morals than they are. But you sure as hell aren’t showing it.
ALSO…does anybody who actually agrees with you read this site? Every single comment I’ve seen on here has been against you. Maybe if you remembered the “love” part of your religion you’d have more people in your camp.

Mr. Billings, I am deeply inspired by your passion and dedication to putting your imprint on the impressionable minds of our innocent white Christian sons during a time when their bodies are full of raging hormones and their minds are still impressionable and easily influenced.
Every young conservative man should have an inspiring older friend like you to give them the firm grip a Christ centered life, free of these swishy gays.

Alright, listen. First, I know this is satire. Leave me alone.
Second, I am tired of all of the so-called “Christians” (Yeah, I’m talking to YOU, Billings!) telling me that my being gay will send me to Hell. I believe that a guy being in love with another guy is no different than being in love with a girl. You still experience the same range of emotions. My boyfriend and I have been together for two and a half years, longer than any of my other friends and their girlfriends. And, even though I’m gay, many of my Christian friends can see that there is more to me than just being gay. They can see that I am still a wonderful person who is worthy of the same rights as a straight person. That is why I believe that America is moving towards becoming a more equal and respectful country, because our youth are learning that people who love differently than them are still worthy of respect. I wish you all would learn that.
