Children today face a difficult time in our fast-paced culture dealing with issues of sexuality. On television and on their computers, explicit content and radical lifestyles are thrust into their faces with very little Christian counterpoint. How can we teach our young ones to navigate this treacherous environment and come out winners? One group has come up with a fantastic answer: A Truth Academy to Train Youth on How to Fight “Gay” Agenda!
In the tradition of our great Christian camping trips for young people, Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) is holding this special training session in August aimed at Christian teens aged 14 and up with sexual issues. And Christwire is here to do our part! In support of this wonderful opportunity, we are now looking for young men who wish to attend this “rigorous, 3-day program featuring some of the leading pro-family experts on homosexuality in the Culture War.” Any young men between the ages of 14 and 21 who sign up will be sponsored by the Christwire team and have their event expenses covered. Members of the Christwire staff have also volunteered to chaperone the children for their three day stay in Carol Stream, Illinois (just outside of Chicago).*
This August 5-7, AFTAH will bring together some of the country’s leading pro-family experts on homosexuality to teach both young and old how to answer the lies and myths that so readily emanate from the “GLBT” (“gay”) camp. I am very excited about this new project’s potential to reverse years of pro-“gay” brainwashing in the schools and popular culture — corrupting the hearts and minds of our young people.
Let’s face it: much of the conservative establishment has dropped the ball on fighting the homosexual agenda (or given up entirely), so AFTAH is stepping up to train a new generations of activists to contend with the sexual sin movement that has fooled so many Americans into treating a human wrong — changeable same-sex behavior — as a “civil right.” Please help us make this future-oriented event possible with your tax-deductible donation to Americans For Truth at www.americansfortruth.com/donate. God bless you!
—Peter LaBarbera, President, AFTAH
This will be a healing Christian event full of teaching and faith. Because of the sexual nature of the topic, many teens may feel more comfortable speaking without their parents present. Adults, don’t be discouraged! This will be a wondrous experience and we truly want our young people to engage in the most frank and open discussions possible! Your children will be looked after by some of the most vibrant minds in the Christian community today, from Reverend Robert Knight of Coral Ridge Ministries to Greg Quinlan, an ex-homosexual and now head of Parents and Friends of Gays and Ex-Gays (PFOX) and Ryan Sorba of Young Conservatives of California. Did I mention that this is a fabulous networking opportunity for future faith warriors!
Investigative Journalist Stephenson Billings will also be on hand, holding personal sessions about homosexuality and the important issues facing teenagers today, from television content to addiction to self abuse at the Holiday Inn off Route 94 after each day’s events.
Plus! All teenage attendees under our program will received a Christwire Gift Bag™ that includes their choice of two fabulous books on homosexuality: “Homosexuality: A Freedom Too Far” or “Out from Under: The Impact of Homosexual Parenting.” One book per person only, please! Also included: a Christwire t-shirt, Christwire party balloons, a Holiday Inn toiletry set, a gift coupon worth 50% off a future Dyersburg camping license and much more! Space is limited, so send in your applications now!
* Transportation to and from each day’s events, night-time entertainment and two American meals a day included. Bus/plane fare to and from Chicago not included. Hotel accommodations are not included but will be approximately $45 per night for the Holiday Day Inn in Chicago. Rooms will be double occupancy, triple up and prices will be reduced accordingly (all checks should be made out to “Stephenson Billings”). Boys with special medical issues will need to have their parents email us prior to the event to see if we have the staff on hand to meet their needs. Remember, please include a photograph of yourself with your email application so that Mr. Billings is able to identify you when you arrive in Chicago.
