“The Patch Ministry”
Dustin Pari is a member of the -” The Atlantic Paranormal Society” and has been with Ghost Hunters for 3-4, and recently just left Ghost Hunters International. Now this Paranormal Investigator is working to be a Minister with “The Patch Ministry”.This guy claims on his My Space says that he is a Catholic but now he says he is a Christian. I do not feel he is religious and he is against the Bible, because in the Bible is it said that “Christian critics also use Lev. 20:27 which they claim says: Any man or woman among you who calls up ghosts or spirits shall be put to death. The people shall stone them; their blood shall be on their own heads. Again, according to the earlier King James Version, the verse really says: A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them. Again the verse speaks about mediums and psychics who call upon their familiar spirits to channel information. It says nothing about ghosts. The God of the Old Testament does not want competition from mediums and psychics, but wants the people to turn only to Him for answers and guidance”. I have studied Dustin Pari over the internet for quit a few years and read his bad attitude and how he is totally sarcastic to his fans. When asking him a simple question on several of his web sites, he reply s back,(with a new topic so no one knows he is talking with you) by back mouthing back at you.I read on forums that Dustin is actually mean and vain and I agree with them 100 %..I try being Dustin’s fan but I just can not be because of his bad attitude. The guy is ignorant, stuck on him self and unfaithful to his fans.Dustin also is selling books out on the web and when I read the comments, the comments are NOT nice to him..Its about being a professional Paranormal Investigator and how anyone that gets into Ghost Hunting – should hang it up!. Dustin is mean and vain and heartless!!

No, you just know what type of people they are in life. Just like if your teenage daughter received an invitation to an all-night, open doors slumber party at an all male prison, you would know that is probably a bad idea. If she received the same invitation from her friends at school or church, you would be more comfortable with the idea. It is because you know “most” of the “ilk”.

Sorry if I’ve been neglecting this page for so long. Things have been crazy…its true folks, life really does come at you fast!
To get the bad stuff out of the way, part of the reason why was to heal…I just lost a really good friend, someone i looked up to, that helped start this page up when it first opened. Stress got the best of me and i became pushy, and long story short it resulted in him hurting me and pushing me out of his life. It was one of the most painful things i ever experienced cause to me this guy was a hero, and he really aimed to hurt…and it did. Especially since this is who i learned Tikkun Olam from and started it with, which is about PEOPLE. And this experience for awhile, ruined all my trust in people cause again…i haven’t respected anyone more until it blew up on me. So i was seriously considering getting rid of TO…
But how fair would that be? Tikkun Olam is a BIG thing. It may not draw a lot of people in, but those who do affect the world, whether you believe you do or not. I believe I affect the world on a very positive note, and those who don’t care for me on my level, i dare not stop doing what I do and stoop down to there’s. Gotta keep on pushing! Being inspirational is my goal, and anyone who has anything bad to say to me and doesn’t want anything to do with me is just missing out. You have to be that way too, cause if your here on Tikkun Olam you are a world changer and a VERY inspirational person.
On top of that, life has just been a changing’. I have a job; a new mentor, Mr. Barry Fitzgerald, whom took time to connect and get me through this hurtful situation; new friends; and soon a new place. I even have a love interest but its REALLY complicated…when is it not, right? lol
But this negative experience taught me that you really have to appreciate the good people you have in your life and not take them for granted. One day they’ll be gone, or you’ll split up over something really stupid and you wont realize the good thing that you had.
S i want to present to you a TO CHALLENGE: if there’s anyone in your life that you look up to: a parent, a grandparent, spouse, even a friend, someone that’s helped make you a better person, i want you to take the time and tell them how much you appreciate all they’ve done for you. And if something happens in the future like it did to me, at least they’ll know you cherished them. it goes a long way…and that my friends, is part of the spirit of Tikkun Olam

Dustin Pari is one of the most genuine, heartfelt, compassion,
loving & caring men i have ever known of ANY religion, & especially of Christianity. I am profoundly blessed to call him friend but more often refer to him as “brother” because he earned that. Everyone knows the Catholic tradition is a denomination of Christianity & it’s well known that they practices exorcisms, use the Virgin Mary like you would a guide & call upon the HOLY GHOST of Christ. That in itself proves that the church believes in the paranormal. The whole demon, fear of God thing suggests Demons & entities can efflict humans. Sometimes they effect good people as well, people that are just in the wrong place at the wrong time or in a lower vibration or state of consciousness that allows them entry. It has been this way forever. If you think you are above that, then you are sorely mistaken.
You think Catholics aren’t Christians ? Why that would be like saying Jesus wasn’t actually a Jew. ( Or that he was a tall blonde haired, blue eyed, white man for that matter ).Even though Jesus studied other ancient religions & was loving & accepting of others, even though his followers then were as questionable as they are now. Oh yes, they had him killed… I suppose you didn’t like Jesus’s choice in friends did you? It might burst your bubble of condemnation to know that you have no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps you should not only thoroughly read your bible but look to open your heart to understand it’s loving message.

Dustin left Tikkun Olam mostly because he simply did not have the time to give it the personal attention that it needed so he gave the reigns to Derick souly & then Derick asked Jane to help.T heir personal relationship is none of your business. Just because Dustin is on tv does not give you the right to put his private matters in public . You are not a God & can not judge him as if you were one. Dustin has not & will never owe you anything. That’s not only unChristian but arrogant & highly inappropriate but i know that you don’t care about that because you feed off causing the misery & trouble for people. That’s rather evil.

You remind me of that fellow on youtube who clearly follows GH & GHI people called MovieDan. Are you him? He loves to get hits on his hating videos about them but i think you already know that. I was rather hoping he had become a productive & positive person in the community & got help for his issues. What a useless waste of time being that hateful is. It must be emotionally exhausting to be so angry, bitter, & resentful. You’d think he’d just change the channel & stop bitching because after a few years, it makes one question your mental stability. Dustin is a true family man with high morals, a daily positive outlook , and a man of integrity. He uplifts & inspires people in many ways and brings positive & like-minded people together to educate them about the field & now his outlook on spirituality . He has God given right to do that. Some misinformed believers have had issues about him in the paranormal field. It’s a good thing that , that is his business & his choice. His church understands what he does in his work & his family supports him. He doesn’t need your permissions.
Dustin truly, truly cares about people & makes the time and goes the extra mile for his supporters, and fans of GH & GHI as best as he can. I’m sure people understand the common sense knowledge that traveling to the extent that he did, allowed him very little time to personally answer literally 1,000′s of emails & comments people make. That will never make him arrogant. It’s common sense! When traveling they were lucky to eat enough or get sleep, or talk to family, nevertheless answer your hate mail.
He left GHI this season to allow himself to be a more present family man . The time away from family is hard. Many people would take “fame” over family but not Dustin. What a guy! Much respect Dustin. Sometimes it’s just too hard to balance it all. What a sacrifice. Bless him!
I have known Dustin for a few years now. He has always been good to me. I have met him personally, seen him host an event & worked with him & seen him interact with people & fans. He takes pics with them & talks with them & truly appreciates them & that shows. He’s very sweet , while confident in himself, he surely is not arrogant. He goes well above & beyond what is expected of him in the way of giving all he can to his fans & some of them are very obsessive. He uses the chances he has been given to help people, families, businesses , charities. They aren’t racking in all this money just because they are shown on the SyFy channel. Again, you are so wrong about how this all works.
He also helped people he met along the way at his own events to help with their causes. One is a well known charity for a little girl with cancer. Bless him , what a guy. Nothing but love for you Dustin.
Dustin never gets online & uses his time to spread lies & hate & rumours & absolute filth about people, especially people he clearly has never known. He is not rude & sarcastic to his fans & i should know, i attend most all of his shows , some events, & interact with him in some way continually & have done for years.

Most Christians i know think going to church one day a week will wash them of their “sins” & all the nasty things they did against the word of Jesus, their God, all week. Dustin is following his spiritual path in every way he should be & for all the right reasons. We encourage,praise, commend, & endlessly support him for that. Dustin is not a medium & does not summon spirits. A spirit is just a person without a body anyway. The essence of the true higher self & our true form. I suppose it’s the real us that all of our Gods created. God being ” life energy”.
If you had he been following Dustin for years you surely without question, would “know” that is he is NOTHING BUT absolutely lovely to his fans.I have been his colleague & friend for a few years & that will remain & I attend most all of his shows & WILL STILL. I’ve met him in person, have you? I’ve seen him with his fans & i’d bet not one of them would view him as you have. He is sweet & caring & giving & talks highly of his team, of people & life & his work & has always been open about what he does with his church at home.
He is a loving husband, Father, friend, son & is responsible for creating Tikkun Olam, a group that extends random acts of kindness without personal gain. He is kind & real & has never disrespected his fans on any shows i have
ever seen & i have seen many. He is not that kind of person. Dustin’s character nor his heart needs defending because it is true & has always spoken for itself but as his friend, i will always be there for him to defend him in anyway,to enlighten people who do not know him against people who will never know him. That is what a friend does. He does not have to ask me to do it. It is done!
It’s far easier to speak malice & to spread lies & hate then it is to be loving & to give for many people. They should practice what they preach perhaps. I’m very proud of Dustin for staying grounded & humble & for leaving something that really means a lot to him to better be there for his
family & to follow his spiritual journey & share the light from his Christian heart.
I have my own “opinions” on the translated new bibles but really they are guidelines & sharing to be perceived in positive ways for the individual. If you followed all the words of the bible that was not even written by Christ,it would show in your appearance. You don’t follow the bible & it shows. How one might take one meaning is not what another might take from him. If hate is
in your heart & the nonacceptance of love, then you will not perceive love in that scripture. You will not resonate with the passage.
I will pray for your happiness angry soul. May you have all your needs met in the most wonderful way. May Dustin be loved & protected throughout all your lies & hate.

I am a Church going person and I am involved a lot in my Church, but our Church does NOT believe in haunting Ghost and Spirits. That to me is disturbing the peace. Dustin on the other hand is out – telling everyone on the web that he wants to teach about the Christan faith!?.. Well let me tell you, I surely am afraid that he is going to convince everyone that being a Paranormal Investigator,(haunting Ghost is in the bible). No sir ye it is NOT in the bible. Where I live – we had another bad storm – up to 60 miles per hour wind storm where tree’s where knocked down,(electrical poles fell and cause fires) & damage homes. We were without power for several hours.. I believe God was angry and I can see why.I told my Pastor at Church everything what Dustin is doing & my Pastor and I prayed together.

Last I checked, Catholic and Christian were actually the same thing. It’s not like he claims Catholic and Protestant. Also, I’d leave it to God to judge the guys heart. I feel that you guys are too harsh. If Dustin wants to share his love of God…why stop him. God accepts and forgives everyone…I have read most of the bible in full and from what I can see you are looking for things to bring him down.
If he also has a passion for the Paranormal than so be it. The ghosts they are looking for in the show are claimed to already be there, the Ghost Hunters are only communicating with what already exists.

Look I’ve read over this stuff you’ve all written and it makes me laugh, you call yourself a follower of God, yet you are out judging people. Let God be the judge of people, not Mankind. It’s not are role. If you are spending your time bashing people for their beliefs and the way they express themselevs you are no better than the worse of the worse, God didn’t put us here to go around bashing people. Use your time to worship the Lord, in my opinion you attacking Dustin or anyone else for that matter is not the Lord’s bidding, and if you read the Bible you’d know that. To each is their own, We all have different ways of showing our faith, and we all have different ways of worship, Mankind does not have the right to say which way is the right way, and honestly neither does the church, because until the day there is solid proof of the correct way, we are all in the dark with only our light of faith to lead us to where we need to be and if we believe in God then he will show us the way. Now with that said I read some comments earlier that were made about Dustin being a hateful person and a rude person, and I’m gonna tell you this. I have met Dustin a numerous number of times in my life, and I have even Interviewed him a handful of times with different things. Dustin is not a hateful person by any means. He is actually one of the most down to earth people I know, and one of the most giving and gratful people I have met. The man supports his family and stands by his friends. What he decides to do in his spare time is his business and no one elses honestly. I don’t think anyone would like it if someone told you, you were wrong for something you do in your spare time wether it was for money or as a hobby, and honestly that’s for God to decided. So instead of using all your energy to attack,bash, put down and try to decharacterize some one and yes this is being said to those that are posting negitive stuff in here. Us the energy towards your religion and things and let God do the judging, your only his servant not his right hand man…

Again some Christian critics have taken the term, “familiar spirits” to mean ghosts and spirits, but according to the full verse, the warning is to avoid those who have familiar spirits, such as mediums and psychics and to avoid wizards. No where in the verse does it talk about ghosts or ghost hunters.
Christian critics also use Lev. 20:27 which they claim says: Any man or woman among you who calls up ghosts or spirits shall be put to death. The people shall stone them; their blood shall be on their own heads. Again, according to the earlier King James Version, the verse really says: A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them. Again the verse speaks about mediums and psychics who call upon their familiar spirits to channel information. It says nothing about ghosts. The God of the Old Testament does not want competition from mediums and psychics, but wants the people to turn only to Him for answers and guidance.

I am sure that I may as well talk to the wall, but while you are flipping through Leviticus looking for the word ghost or spirit, don’t miss this one…

I could debate what your verse regarding ghosts and spirits mean all day long, but I am not going to because it does not matter. What people knew about those things thousands of years ago is not what we know about those things now, so advice from a completely different time period is not even applicable when it comes to subjects such as these. That would be like suddenly saying the world is flat again because it was said way back when, even though we have pictures of it’s roundness today.
As for your use of the Tikkun Olam blog, that is just sad and shows that you have no knowledge of the situation, as I can tell you for a fact that Derick and Dustin are friends, and Dustin still supports TO, because I am involved with the group myself. Dustin may be a public figure, but his personal relationships are none of your business.
In my opinion I think that you should seek some spiritual advice and also some professional counseling. I don’t think that your issue here has anything to do with religion, I think that it has more to do with an unhealthy and unstable obsession that you have here. “I try being Dustin’s fan but I just can not be because of his bad attitude.” Why would you be a fan of someone involved in a field that you are proclaiming is evil and deserves death?? What they are doing is looking to help trapped spirits, or to try to find out more about them & the differences in our parallels. It has very little to do about disturbing the peace. I don’t know Dustin personally, but I do watch Ghosthunters because I want to better understand the paranormal. Despite SyFy’s best attempts to do otherwise, the show treats “ghosts” as a serious field to be studied instead of a cheap scare tactic. Dustin has stated that his reason for being involved in studying the paranormal is to better understand and to prove that there is life after death. Some other members of the team are also Christians and have expressed a similar reason for what they do. I am a Christian, and I have had experiences with the paranormal. None of these experiences were scary, evil, or dangerous. I too have wondered why there are ghosts, spirits, energy, etc. still on this Earth after a person dies, and how it relates to my own faith and beliefs. Christians who believe in or study the paranormal are not doing something evil or blasthemous. They are simply trying to better understand what causes paranormal occurences and how it relates to our life after death.

I just had to comment on this post because I just can NOT believe what you people are saying. Dustin is one of the sweetest people in the world. I don’t know where you all are getting your information but if you just read his twitter and how much he loves the Lord, his wife, and his little girls you see that. I have never met him personally but even seeing him on GH and GHI you can see how much he cares about the cases he goes on especially when dealing with families in trouble. That’s one of the main reasons they go on these cases is to help families that are being affected by the paranormal. Yes the Bible doesn’t say anything about ghosts excluding the Holy Ghost that resides within us after we have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” if we have accepted Him as our Savior. But I personally believe that ghosts can either be demons or angels, or demons disguised as people or angels as people. And God hasn’t told us everything about the spiritual world or about our world in general. He just wants us to believe in Him and trust Him. We will never know everything He does until all of his children have gone to Heaven.
And I am appalled with all of you saying Dustin and the Ghost Hunters will be stoned and killed and even natural disasters happened in Rhode Island because of them. How DARE you say what God’s will is when you are CLUELESS to His will. I am disgusted with you people speaking for God when you have no right to do so.

Excuse me @Adam Nelson but who do you think you are being the judge of what TAPS is doing? You have no right. And they are NOT a ouiji occult, and there is no such thing. They are going to cases helping families and businesses and people that are truly frightened by the unknown. There are things out there that we can not see and TAPS is helping. Well, if this page don’t beat all! Here we have a bunch of mindless Ghost Hunter groupies defending their heros without reservation and a bunch of over zealous religious demonstrating how to twist Christianity for their own purpose. Let me make a couple of points if you don’t mind………….
1. TAPS, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Ghost Hunter Academy is a television program for entertainment. It is not a documentary or reality tv, it is a pseudo-scripted program that serves one purpose; ratings and advertising dollars. None and I mean none of the cast members are anything more than part of the popularity machine. Despite the numerous accusations of fraud and setting up situations to seem paranormal, GH fans rush to their idols sides to defend them with undying devotion. All of this for a chance to rub elbows with a bunch of losers that have done more to hurt paranormal research that anyone will readily admit. If it were up to me, I’d not only cancel every paranormal/ghost themed tv program and charge the production companies for conspiracy to commit fraud.
2. When will you thick skulled zealots realize that your ravings do more to harm your case that it does to help it. You obviously know nothing about real paranormal research or spiritual warefare outside what your cult leader has told you. First of all, since the crucifixation and Jesus’ resurrection the faithful and true believers have been given salvation through Christ’s blood. The 10 Commandments were given to the Jews during their trek out of Egypt to help them live by God’s laws so they could go to heaven. And even though we all may strive to follow these commandments to lead a better Christian life, our salvation is assured by faith, not words! Second, attempting to associate research and investigation with raising up spirits makes as much sense as shooting yourself in the foot. The Bible is full of instances where spirits or ghosts interacted with people. Remember when Jesus appeared to the disciples after his death? He was a spirit and not flesh and blood at that point and it’s clear they (the disciples) didn’t raise him. What about when Christ talks about seeing Moses and Elijah, they were spirits too; these were just two cases of spirits or ghosts in the Bible.
It’s time that both sides of this issue wake up and smell the coffee and realize there is much more to this topic than the blind devotion to tv cast members and what a religious leader tells you what is real and true. Even though I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, I’m smart enough to know that Man has toyed, changed, mis-interpretted and perverted for their own benefit. Use your brain (that’s the lump 3 feet above your asses) that God gave you to study the Bible thoroughly for yourself and/or speak to others of faith that believe. But most of all, turn your tv’s off when these shows come on unless you have sense enough to know it’s entertainment to help sell and promote commercial products through advertising.
Maybe then, we can come together and work to get to the truth together.

This site seeks publicity, a scam…bottom line. And the more we feed into it, the happier they are. There is no truth, religion, or research in any of these “stories”. It is simply an attention-seeking ploy, and as soon as the Cooking shows take the place of paranormal shows, all Chef’s will be evil as well. Let it go. We all know Dustin and we know the truth. Let’s not give these wolves in sheeps clothing any more attention.

Gee how amazing to read both children speak on the behalf of Dustin. WOW how can I say this? Mouth full of lies and the fact that Dustin will never change. He spoke the truth from his old website at http://dustinpari.com – how he rebells on others. How he had a terriable life.. His road to hell. Now he comes out of hiding in 2007 – being he is God’s gift to the world( how he wants to change the world to becone more of a friendlier place)?. I do not trust the guy if he payed me.. Dustin is a fruitcake – that speaks for him self. A motuh full of lies. As much as I can not stand him – pushed him to hard – he decided to go his seperate ways – He FINALLY left GHI & GH.. Thank god he listen to me. You explain to me how Dustin finds the time to Ghost Hunt,(has events all month long and do ministry)?. Where does he find the time to have a REAL working job – has Ghost Hunting events all month long & do ministry?. Its impossible.. So what ever you can come up next – by posting lies on Dustin’s behalf, your wasting your time. Dustin is a joke and a manipulator.

I just came across this post, how strange. When I was at my lowest in life, I reached out to a total stranger named Dustin Pari. He not only reached back and helped me thru letters to find hope and strength in my life, he turned me to the Lord without asking for anything in return!!!!He is the reason why I am still living,his kindenss to a stranger,me, a person who wrote him an email one night, so whatever you believe about him, its your business, but if he turned one person or one million to the Lord, what could be wrong with that??? I for one, appreciate him and his kindness and he is an inspiration to me!!! I have a feeling he will inspire more too, and if all these bad things are true from the past and he turned his life around, GOOD FOR HIM!!! I am proud of him!!!

Dustin does not like me because I can see right through him.. He knows that I know him very well & that Dina is,(Dustin is a compulsive liar when speaking on the internet but behind the scene’s) – he is a mean – evil bastard.. I am so happy that my complaint reach TAPS,(that he got to the point of leaving Ghost Hunters). Dustin is a complete joke & him being part of ‘The Patch Ministry’ is not going to change my mind about what I think of him. He won’t reach the Kingdom of GOD. You know what Dina? Jason Hawes is a f*&ing Asshole BUT I know he has a heart and cares.. I even told him he was via e-mail & he knows it was me because I even told him.. I know Jason very well to but I also know he is a kind hearted guy that does look up to his fans & does care but Dustin?. You can’t fix stupid!..Dustin does not have a heart – so why bother reasoning with him?. It is a waste of time..

He seems like a nice enough guy to me…I applaud his heart and drive to start a ministry. Many have the idea and desire, butand I am sorry that so many people think that Christians are supposed to be perfect people or something…or they are supposed to act perfect based on someone’s opinion, convictions, or preferences. God called each of us to walk our own walk…NONE of us are perfect and the only thing we can count on is we will be let down, and we will let those around us down at some point too. I hope you are able to forgive him for whatever he did to offend you. Praying for blessings in your life….
