Gays always love to pretend that they are in some struggle for equality, trying to convince non-gays to join their cause based on faulty notions such as ‘genetics’ or ‘condition’, that do not apply to gays.
The gay agenda has become increasingly belligerent, manipulative and aggressive. Gays wish to force their lifestyle upon our society and children. Gays wish to make it seem that society at large thinks their forceful behavior is acceptable, and actively recruit others to help them manipulate scientific polls, created to show that gays are not accepted and America stands against gay marriage.
It is one thing for people in general society to fall for such rhetoric and clap-trap, but for scientists to fall for this is completely absurd. Scientists should understand that being gay is not a genetic condition that has been proved in any primary journal study of significant confidence.
It is an offense to true interest groups who have had to gain Civil Rights. Gays try to liken themselves to the Afr0-Americans, who came to this country as slaves and were mistreated for hundreds of years, due to their skin color.
Afro-Americans are given equal rights because their skin color is genetic. It is not grounds for treating them differently, for they are people just like anyone else. Their skin color does not obscure their right to live a full life of joy and happiness. Afro-Americans tend to have a higher amount of melanin in their skin, in addition to several other phenotypic traits resultant to the genetic product of more than ten specific coding alleles.
Women, by a normative genetic means, are of sexual chromosome make-up XX, even though some women are XY and beyond. This is fine. Women have been mistreated in society, due to their physiological appearance. Their oppression was based on a genetic condition, and again, this is not right as it questions the authority of nature and therefore God himself.
In politics and ensuring rights, we must make sure that Civil Rights are awarded based upon merit. Gays try to link themselves to the ideas of Civil Rights for minorities who suffer from genetic conditions historically out of the norm, and therefore, are oppressed.
Gays are not gay due to genetics; gays are gay due to choice. The gay’s choice to be perverted may be rooted in psychological trauma or gender confusion, from an unstable childhood or lack of self-identity. Gays may choose to be gay due to having a malicious heart and a self-destructive nature. Due to their self-loathing, they have no bottom line and enjoy corrupting the most innocent of everyone, children.
Some gays have such issues with self-identity, that they try to ‘switch’ their genders in secret, calling themselves made-up things like ‘transgender’ or ‘transsexual’, as if their choice to mutilate their bodies and adorn themselves in the socially acceptable attire of the opposing gender can somehow undo their baseline genetic code.
Gays must be taught to choose that their lifestyle and desire is not normal. Gays must accept that a man’s body is designed to mate with a woman. A woman’s body is designed to mate with a man. This is normal and based on our bauplan, the very essence of our species, we are meant to do.
What is the pulse of America? Gays are trying to make the legalization of their “right” to marriage an issue. The “trans” gays are taking it a step-up, trying to get their official gender denomination changed, so that society is forced to see them as “female” (even though genetically a male) and allow them to marry, against our federal law.
Does the heart of America beat true and moral, or is it now corrupt. Vote in the poll, above. Let it be known if we stand as One Nation, Under God, as it stated in the oath every American must take and believe in. Or are we a modern day Sodom, where we will let gays run rampant, harming our society and children, blurring the line between decency and morality forevermore.

1) Funny that you write this article with the bible in mind when it says in there to love thy neighbor. That doesn’t JUST mean the person living next to you. “One nation under God” eh? I seem recall that “under God” bit was not a part of the original Pledge of Allegiance, but rather added by conservative nutzos during the McCarthy years when they were trying to persecute people with alternate political and religious beliefs.
As I seem to recall, and please *do* correct me if I’m wrong, but this country’s constitution is supposed to be based on a separation of church and state. Our founding fathers came to America because they were fleeing from religious persecution. That being said, you are trying to make your personal morals and your personal religious beliefs into state law, which is not legal according to our constitution. You all make such a big deal about the fact that marriage is a sacred religious sacrament, but you don’t protest atheists getting married, or Jews, or Muslims. How many are instead raised by single parents, step parents, or the TV? There are several examples throughout this thread where logic breaks down and makes invalid most if not all Bible-based arguments against homosexuality. For example:
How can God abhor something He has created?

Why is it that one who is a Christian but against homosexuality, to win an argument, must behave in such an opposite way of that of Jesus Christ and his teachings (inclusion, humility, love, acceptance, peace) ?
These logical fallacies are easy to point out, and difficult to overcome. I suggest anyone trying to make these arguments realize that it may be possible that God isn’t the one who hates fags, but themselves. So I have a new sign for you to write up and hold on the curb:
“I hate fags” is a clear, declarative, and unarguable statement. If you hate fags, you hate them, and you want to see them go away or change. How can I argue with that? By declaring that it is You who feel hate toward homosexuals, you will not only win the argument of logic you are so desperate to win, but you’ll get to feel the full reality of how your beliefs affect your life and others in the world.

This article is obviously at the outer reaches of the author’s vocabulary and his understanding of biology (it’s melanin, Mr Grunhard; melatonin is a neurotransmitter).

Jews have equal rights, at least by law. Hindus, Muslims, and Christians are equal before the law. So does Mr Grunhard propose that we revoke these equal rights, because religion is surely a choice? Should Jews and Muslims, with their Abrahamic faiths, have more rights than Buddhists, Hindus, and atheists, but less than Christians?
Of course, the obvious question is, Mr Grunhard — when and how exactly did you choose become a heterosexual? Any regrets?

To all the people holding up the bible as “proof”:
1) The bible as we know it today has gone through many translations, edits and alterations throughout the past 2000 years. Or did you think that people in ancient world all spoke english?
2) The word “abomination” in the bible is not what people today think it means. In the original context, it simple meant “taboo”, “not done”, “not normal”. Also, add in the fact that Leviticus is a holiness code written for priests, and ONLY priests, the entire argument falls apart right there. What this part of the text means is: Don’t have sex while performing priestly duities. Something I kind of argee with… However, I don’t think that most Catholic priests do, though.
3) The part in Acts in which Paul speaks of the men and women in the temple…. Many people like to hold this up as proof in the “New Testament”. However, again, let’s look at context. Paul is in a temple that is supposedly devoted to his God, yet he sees people all having sex, and being “unholy” in the house of God. Of course he is going to be pissed.
4) Most of the writings done by Paul were letters written to specific people or towns, not humanity as a whole, or for everyone throughout time. And again, these were Paul’s personal opinions.
5) Taking a look at the words used in that time and that they simply had no terms for homosexuality back then, the word “eunuchs” could very easily mean homosexuals. In which case, Christ himself said that people were born that way, and that it is no choice. (Matthew 19:12 Lamsa)

7) There are two commandments given by Jesus Christ. One is to love your God with all of your heart and have no other God before him. The second is to love others as God loves you. You follow these two things, everything else will fall into place. You cannot harm someone if you truely love them. You cannot murder, steal, covet, or anything else if you truely love others the way God loves you. And you certainly cannot hate homosexuals, transgenders, or whoever else simple because they are different.

Here are a few questions to the pseudo journalist who wrote this article and his religious fanatic friends who justify their own hatred of gays by the Bible:
a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?
e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?

He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? I know I already posted but I found something else as well after doing a little digging…
This country was founded upon the freedom of speech and religion, which under the constitution, if you kept up with the debate in California, the 14th amendment of the constitution says in section 1: “Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
What this means is that any minority have the same rights as any other citizen of the United States. Gay people are recognized class of people legally, which we are a minority. Your Bible doesn’t apply to it being the fact of the Treaty of Tripoli of 1792 STATES as well as the US Constitution says that the United States is not founded on religion rather the freedom to express it without imposing on the government, which Bush did a no-no. So you can scream “Oh no you can’t!” all you want, but the constitution says that we’re legally able to do what every citizen of America can do. Constitution-1; Christianity-0.

I am a Buddhist and believe that no one has the right to kill other life forms, all life is sacred (even your pitiful obviously non-life life). I know that hate is wrong, whoever you are. I’m 13, and was hoping this article was a joke. It gives me the impression that Americans are small-minded, big-mouthed haters; it also makes me very glad that I live in England. Why is there so much hate in the world?!

I can’t believe I’m reading this right now. My brain began to reject what I was reading; surely this can’t be real? This… Is complete nonsense. In fact, it goes even beyond that. This article is an attack. That’s the most I can put it to.
I will start by saying that I, as a transsexual woman, am completely appalled. The points made in this article have driven me to a loss of words even… I’m scared. I don’t know if this author is truly just ignorant, or if he’s out of his mind… He’s obviously never experienced the pain of being forced into the closet, nor has he ever had to grow up knowing exactly what it means.
Growing up, I had a relatively happy childhood. Wonderful parents (they were straight, for I’m afraid that here, that’s apparently relavent), wonderful neighbors, nothing to cause “psychological trauma”. From the day I was brought home from the hospital, they raised and treated me as a boy. I was given male clothes, stereotypically male toys. I was enrolled in sports. But deep down, for as long as I can remember, I knew in my heart I was female.
It wasn’t because I was attracted to boys (I wasn’t. Not all transpeople are attracted to their same biological gender. That’s something this author doesn’t seem to realize.) Nor was it because of anything that was ever said or done to me. I had the feeling of being completely, absolutely different. I wasn’t a boy. My interests, my habits, my thoughts, my personality, it was completely different from any boy. I never fit in with the guys, and when I was around girls, I felt as if I was one of them. I’ve grown up feeling that I was born with a defect. My body is wrong.
But, growing up in a mainly conservative atmosphere, I was never allowed to act the least bit girly. If I showed anything, if I even cried in public, I’d be made fun of. I wasn’t allowed to show emotion, like “real” girls. I wasn’t allowed to feel beautiful. God forbid, if I presented as the girl I knew I was, I’d be labled as a fag.
I know it’s hard for non-trans people to understand. Can you understand, for a second, the pain of having yourself be repressed? Can you understand what it’s like to hate yourself for what you, biologically, can not change? Of course you can’t. But does that mean you should hate the people that go through it? Are we really that repulsive, that offensive to you? We’re not trying to “trick” or “decieve” anyone. Nor are we trying to “cheat” the marriage system. We’re human beings, just like the rest of you.
