I have been having lesbian thoughts. I have always considered myself a straight woman, and I have never had any sexual contact with a woman, but something turns me on about watching a female jogger’s slightly curly hair bounce along with two pert breasts down the street with her earbuds in and body sweating underneath tight clothes. It makes me want to slide her jeggings down her sleek physique, revealing the beautiful flower underneath, so that I might catch a whiff, so to speak, of its sweet bouquet.

Are you admitting to me that you have indeed committed a sin upon the Lord? As I read over your letter, I pray the Lord give me the strength required to properly answer such a grave and serious matter. You say that you consider yourself a straight woman, and that you have never had sexual contact with another woman, but that your mind has strayed from the path of the true and righteous by the works of Satan to lure you further down this dark and corrupt path. Our socialist government may believe this is a natural and respectable way to live life, but I know better. You have failed in your duties as a good wife or girlfriend, in that you do not obey and respect your boyfriend or husband and put him above all else in your life. As a good Christian woman I have done just that with my partner, Cody. I put myself second in the relationship, because I know my place. Those of the lesbian persuasion prefer the soft, sensual touch of a female to the coarse touch of a man… and it sickens me to think that you are among many of today’s young females afflicted with such vile urges. To quote Romans:
For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Romans 1:26-27
There may still be hope for you yet, but you must follow my advice – You say that you become sexually aroused at the sight of women in tight, sweat soaked jogging clothes, their bodies bouncing rhythmically as they run… Stop being around female joggers, or any place where your eyes can fall upon such sights: A gym, public pools, jogging trails. Instead you should be going to places to find sights of attractive men, as god would intend for you. I do not endorse you act on any sexual urges that the sight of strong, masculine male, might bring; unless you are betrothed to the man. I couldn’t call my self a Christian if I did. In this case, the urges, while sinful, are, some would say, the lesser of two evils and will set you on the right path.
I know the feelings you must have. Sinning in the eyes of the Lord by forsaking your natural purpose, for I too have been challenged by the temptations of Satan and his mesmerizing examples of titillation… But you must hold strong ‘Hedonistic’, for the love from God is the only one and true love that no sexual temptations of the flesh can ever conquer!

Other than the grievous spelling and grammar mistakes in this article (at one point, you wrote “god”, without a capital “G”!), I can find another issue.

Because it’s just that much worse to prefer a woman’s “soft, sensual touch”, because it feels good? I can’t imagine why the “coarse touch of a man” would or should be preferable.
Dumbass. Girls look good. End of story. Nothing wrong with this woman’s letter. If she likes the sight of girls working out, that’s what she likes. No amount of avoiding them or forcing herself to only deal with men can stop that. And, no, “prayer” won’t help either.

Thank you Esther for writing this. Last Fall I started my freshman year at college. I joined a sorority and moved in with them.
