Marijuana’s Evil Threat To Christian America

All knowing conservative ire: I possess this, many don’t. Today, I point my superpower at one of the most dangerous evils our society faces today. Marijuana.
Many Christians have questioned whether or not doing marijuana will send you to hell. The short answer is yes. Liberals would like to make you think otherwise by stacking polls and using fake medical studies. The Bible, however, holds clear conservative viewpoints.
Nancy Reagan, wife of the Great One and mother of the modern Republican Party, started the war on marijuana in the eighties when she recognized the dangers it posed to our youth. Her ‘Just Say No’ campaign saved millions of American kids. Too bad notorious pothead Bill Clinton used the nineties to reverse all her good work.
Clinton and the rest of the liberals have been trying for years to get marijuana legalized in the United States. European countries that have done so have seen spikes in liberal populations over the years. No doubt the Democrats believe they can stack the deck in their favor by adding pot to the mix.
While doing research for this article, I noticed something very interesting. Most marijuana users are either atheists or idol worshipers. Instances of abortion and crime are also higher amongst drug users. The drug seems to activate a section of the brain that makes a person become a liberal. The basic traits are the same.
Serious health risks shouldn’t even be a debate. Left leaning doctors who make things up to get publicity with the college frat boy segment of the population deserve to have their medical licenses revoked. You are taking a drug, of course it is going to hurt your body and make you stupid.
The more sinister point of this review is terrorism. Marijuana funds it. Some strains even have names like ‘Afghan Kush’. The Bush Administration found that money made from selling drugs in the United States helped to fund the 9-11 attacks. You think you’re getting your pot from Mexicans? ‘Juan’ might actually be ‘Ackbar’. Could you really tell the difference?
This all brings us to Kenyan President Barack Obama. At least that weasel Clinton had the good sense to lie about his drug use. Obama just came out and admitted it, like he was proud. Then he hired his dealer’s wife to be our Secretary of State. Coincidence?

You know what makes me sick, hippies at the grocery store with petitions to “legalize it man”. They always default to the same argument, we don’t want to smoke it, it makes great rope. Come on people, is there a shortage of quality rope? I mean sure you can’t afford a belt because you spent all your money on drugs so you use an old lampcord, but I fail to see how legalizing it will help you. If anything democrats will just tax it like crazy and out of your price range.
But in more realistic discussion… As many of you know I live in Idaho. The people of Idaho are a proud and free people with very libertarian trends. Most people here believe that states should make their own decisions on these and other matters. I personally won’t touch the stuff. Look what it’s done to the Dutch. But this leaves me torn. The liberal feds have made this a awful issue, they say smoking is wrong, unless its illegal drugs, than they say its ok. They punish tobacco companies, yet reward, lobby for and license “medical” shops all around. This is very confusing to our youth who actually pay attention to current events.

I think you might have that one backwards my friend. All dispensaries and co-ops are required to be non-profit organizations supplying patients with alternative medication recommended by their physician. Not to mention any dispensary is under constant threat of being raided, arrested, and having all of their assets seized. Big tobacco pretty much has the government in their pocket, allowing them to do pretty much whatever they want. Obama’s tobacco tax was one of the few actions the government has taken against tobacco. I really don’t see a reason not to legalize it. It would save billions in enforcement and incarceration of marijuana crimes, not to mention the tax dollars and jobs created by an entire new industry would give people that would have been otherwise dubbed as criminals a chance to make a life outside of crime and sleeping with a gun under their mattress. Much less harmful than cigarettes or alcohol, but God knows that those two will swing their weight around to keep marijuana out of the ring for as long as possible. Sad but true.

This is very wrongly stated. The Netherlands have a very low crime rate compared to the U.S.
Also it has been showed that decriminalization of drugs lowers crime rate and the use of drugs in general. Take Portugal for an example:

(continuation of the comment i accidentally posted above) I would like to say that i would encourage the writer of this article to consider facts rather than opinion. You seem to draw conclusions VERY quickly without consideration of additional circumstances. However i will not argue about your examples now. What i really wanted to say is that i chose to use marijuana to keep me from doing things that corrupt my mind with sin and that cause me lots of trouble. I choose to associate with people who also use cannabis. We have never felt the urge to go out and mess with the neighborhood. We never do grafitti, we never prank people, and we dont consider sex (pre marital) something that is acceptable as a group activity. We usually just get high and discuss political/ religious issues (not kidding). Before i started smoking weed, i questioned the existence of god. I felt that my own opinions were correct and i didnt need to believe in god. After i sarted using weed, i was brought to realize that god does indeed exist. I can better realise what large amounts of good things god has blessed us with (marijuana included). I advocate strongly against abusing alcohol, and personally NEVER drink (except communion). I dont believe that weed will send me to hell. That sounds like something a 9 year old would say. it is ignorant and not supported by fact. I use weed to keep myself out of real trouble, and that, in turn causes me to be closer to god. I glorify him through my use. And on a side note, i have never, nor do i know anyone who has ever done anything “extreme” while high on pot. It relaxes me and gives me a new way to think around things (my grades are above average by the way) and i have never felt hatred towards anyone while high.

I’m a christian boy, and I go to church almost every Sunday. I know many many people from my church who smoke weed, adults and students. Most of the people I’ve talked to from my church are really kind people, really down to earth and fun to be around. I’m 16 and I smoke weed a lot. Most of my friends parents consider me a pretty good kid, which I would have to say I am. Ever since I started smoking weed my grades went up, I’m way more open with my friends, I’ve made more really cool friends, my acne cleared up(doubt it really has to do with the pot) me and my mom don’t get in arguments nearly as often, I actually listen to people, I enjoy camping trips which I used to despise, my mind feels a thousand times more creative, and surprisingly…. I’m able to maintain my money better than before. So, whats exactly the bad thing with pot? I’m really not seeing anything to hate, other than to people who really try to tear it down and LIE about it. I’m totally cool if its not something your into, I wouldn’t force it upon you, but to completely make up crap about it? That’s just not right. Just live and let live.

I’m a 19 year old Catholic. Which means I belong to the Church that your messiah started and that you for some reason disagree with enough to ignore all those things that are true. I’ve been smoking for two years. On a daily basis. I’d have to disagree completely with the article. God put it on the earth for man to use. Weed may alter the mental state, but I’ve found most of the people who smoked are much more insightful human beings. I, for the record, smoke on occasion and am a very spiritual person. I think it’s time to stop fighting over who’s right and wrong and learn to love and accept each other. Isn’t that what Jesus would have wanted anyway?
