Eric Cartman: Great Fictional American Hero
Eric Cartman is the star of the Comedy Central show South Park. He is a dear innocent child growing up with his more sinful and liberal friends: Kyle, Stan, kenny, and Butters.
Cartman is a big boned fourth-grader living with his mom in the town of South Park, Colorado, where he has wonderful adventures not typical of conventional small-town life. We watch as he perseveres through these adventures, to maintain his strong christian identity.
Cartman is one of the most popular characters on the show, and has remained one of the most recognizable television characters ever since South Park became a hit during its first season. Parker and Stone describe the character as “a little Archie Bunker”, and state that he is their favorite character, and the one with whom they most identify. During its fifteen seasons, South Park has received both praise and criticism for Cartman’s tendency to be politically incorrect and shockingly profane. Prominent publications and television channels have included Cartman on their lists of the most iconic television and cartoon characters of all time.

His hobbies include, ridding the world of hippies, chili cook offs, having people respect his authority, and overcoming the Jewish tyranny of Kyle. He often engages in charity through hanging out with his poor friend Kenny.
Sometimes he also fights crime as a super hero named Coon.

Despite his hatred of liberal hippies, NPR declared Cartman “America’s Favorite Little $@#&*%. In a 1999 poll conducted by NatWest Bank, eight and nine-year-old children in the United Kingdom voted Cartman as their favorite personality. Some in the Jewish community have praised the show’s depiction of Cartman holding an anti-Semitic attitude towards Kyle as a means of accurately portraying what it is like for a young Jew. On November 20, 2008, a Facebook group titled “National Kick a Ginger Day, are you going to do it?” surfaced,Thousands signed up. Cartman ranked 10th on TV Guide’s 2002 list of the “Top 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters”, 198th on VH1′s “200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons”,and 19th on Bravo’s “100 Greatest TV Characters”.

The Parents Television Council has said about South Park: “Depictions of sex and sexual dialogue are frequent and explicit. Episodes from the past few seasons have centered around vaginal flatulence, irradiated and enlarged testicles, and male genitals grown on lab mice. In one episode Kyle is kidnapped and has his mouth surgically sewn into the anus of a Japanese man while a woman’s mouth is sewn into his own to create a single gastrointestinal tract. Depictions of violence are frequent and graphic in nature, with explicit scenes of gun violence, murder, torture, blood and gore typical. Language includes multiple uses of the f- and s-words, “ass****,” “d***,” and most other forms of profanity.”

You do realize that Cartman is a terrible human being who once orchestrated the murder of a bully’s parents just so he could chop them up, and serve them in chili, and then literally taste the tears of the bully when he revealed that he made him eat his own parents, right? Hell, that’s just the tip of the ice burg. Cartman actively looks up to Hitler as a good person and is the source of most of the show’s swearing. The movie has one particular scene where he keeps calling his “friend’s” mother a ‘big fat fucking bitch’. But apparently to you, THIS is the message that needs to get out to children, THIS is the role model for children everywhere, THIS is the person that Christians need to follow in order to truly know Christ.

What are you talking about? How does Cartman “Swear for the Lord” In one episode, Cartman actually says “Fuck Jesus” not 1 time, but 2 times. In the same episode, Cartman writes several songs about Cartman wanting to have sex with Jesus, and in the same episode, Cartman says he is going to make a Christian rock band just so he can get a lot of money. He describes this by saying “I know enough about Christianity to exploit it.” Look up the episode “Christian Rock Hard” It is episode 9 of Season 7.
