Prayers to Mississippi as residents are fighting a mighty flood that is swamping through the towns. This early summer’s sporadic weather has resulted in flooding from the mighty Mississippi and many of the smaller rivers that it feeds.

Townsfolks have built levies to try to counter the flood, but are finding their efforts foiled. Many families have tried to save their livestock and chicken by tossing them onto higher and more dry grounds, but ultimately those efforts are failing as well.
