Is Jesus Your Spare Tire in Case of Rape?

Liberal women of Kansas are up in their hairy arm pits over a recent life culture legislation in Kansas. During the final quarter hour of the Kansas state legislature, lawmakers passed a law to ban insurance companies from offering abortion coverage in their general health plans with the singular exception of when a woman’s life is at risk. Kansas State Rep. Pete DeGraaf (R) stated that with proper planning prior to rape, the absence of abortion provisions would not cause any undue concern for women experiencing rape.
Rep. Pete DeGraaf, a Mulvane Republican who supports the bill, told her: “We do need to plan ahead, don’t we, in life?”
Bollier asked him, “And so women need to plan ahead for issues that they have no control over with pregnancy?”
DeGraaf drew groans of protest from some House members when he responded, “I have a spare tire on my car.”
“I also have life insurance,” he added. “I have a lot of things that I plan ahead for.”
Representative DeGraaf believes if women conduct themselves with honor and respect, as he teaches in his church, rape is something that won’t occur because as many Christians know – bad things don’t ever happen to good God fearing people that love Christ and obey his laws.
As one might expect, the liberal thought police have latched onto his Christian message like a terrier to a t-bone. Many are threatening to send spare tires to his office for what they view as offensive remarks. Blog posts are everywhere with angry feminazi’s attacking the Christian message of Representative DeGraaf.
It is a shame the institution of marriage under such attack. Christian marriage, witnessed by Jesus, is the spare tire that prevents rape for many Christians. With a man to protect his wife, rape is much less likely to occur than if she were single.

If Liberal women of Kansas stopped dressing like sluts they wouldn’t be asking to be raped.

State legislative battles are really heating up– I know what’s happening here in Tennessee has made national news, same with Minnesota. I guess all these politcos want their airtime before their summer vacations.
In any case, the situation you mention here Blanche is one where the taxpayers and other policy holders end up supporting a radical lifestyle choice through their insurance premiums. If I’m a Baptist and subscribe to a Biblical interpretation of life, why should I pay for something that goes against every principle of my being? Why should I pay through the nose for murder when I drive a car or have a doctor’s visit? Insurance companies are bleeding us dry anyway.
This Pete DeGraaf fellow seems to know what he’s done. God reveals Himself in mysterious ways and only He knows the true plan laid out for us.

Bellwethers like DeGraaf are representing the rights of the unborn in our state legislatures. His message was clear a child born from rape is not a broken tire to be sent to the dump.
I think the message some are sending in the form of spare tires to Degraaf’s office will only solidify the message in the minds of many Christians. Feminists and Pro-Choice advocates see the unborn as something to be disposed of rather than a life to be cherished.

I believe we have all missed the point of this article, and more importantly the photo’s message. I would like to know the location of this particular Firestone store. I am currently driving on 3 retreads and the spare and desperately need new tires. Seems this Firestone store has Jesus’ credit card number.
I will pray for you.

I’m glad to see these things fought out at the State level. It’s important States decide these things for themselves and the feds stay out of it.
People need to be better prepared for things. Whether it be getting a real education, knowing how to clean your own water, moving out of your parents basement or storing your own food.
Planning ahead would save me from having my tax dollars go to replacing an Africans iPad after a flood.
I like this.

Have you all lost your “God given” minds?!
Seriously, you are going to sit here and say that Christian women are less likely to get raped because she is married and loves God?!
You are insane!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me let you all in on a little secret. Women are raped everyday, married or not, and a lot of those are teenage girls.
So, by your thought process, should we start marrying off our teenaged girls so that she will be protected?
What about the very young girls who are raped by family members and end up pregnant by age 10? Should we just marry off our daughters when they start menstruating?
This is the most ignorant and blatantly evil post and thread I think I have seen in a while.
You know what, I would RATHER marry another woman than to risk marrying a man who lives with your amount of common sense (which amounts about as much as your morality. That is NOT saying much. I bet it couldn’t fit between the pages of the bible to claim to cling to).
The only spare tire you need to be worried about is the one that’s in your head and inhibiting your brain from working correctly.
If there is a hell, I hope you all see it soon.
By the way, Harold Camping seems to have more sense than any of you here. That is NOT a compliment, either…

The statement made by representative DeGraaf is INSANE!!! The bible teaches no such thing. It is written Christians will be hated and persicuted, martyred for their beliefs, will suffer trials and tribulations (happened, happening) and beheaded in the last days. That means rape is a real possibility. To think otherwise is ingorant and makes women who believe this easy victims. Even Christ suffered a horrifirc death as well as his desciples. It flies in the face of the meaning of christ-like. Such as these are apostates, cowards, completely missing the mark. There is no truth or love in them. Do not call these people christians. When you meet a real one, you’ll know — You will know them by their fruit.

I think you are subconsciously supporting DeGraaf’s point. Christian belief calls followers to seek preparation and solace in Christ when faced with persecution and assault.

I know that what I am about to say will be shocking for many of my brothers and sisters here. But I support Abortion. Just think about it. Most of those babies will grow up to be homogays, liberals, commies or even worse the next mullato president.
I think Mr. Pete DeGraaf needs to go on a trip with cowboy cody, personally.

Yeah, tell that to Job…
Seriously though, I hope that DeGraaf gets raped and ejaculated into by an HIV positive man. So much for being prepared, eh Petey?

I posted it on my facebook as well. I meant what I said and I’m not afraid of it. I’m not the only one who would like to see him get a taste of his own medicine. People “liked” my facebook comment, as a matter of fact.

We’re supposed to be surprised that your “friends” liked your disgusting hate-filled comment? First, Facebook is a tool of the devil. Second, any friends of a barren, cat-loving, nub-rubbing lesbo are clearly going to have the same muddled brains as their “friend.”
I’ve prayed every night for you, Claire, dear. I’ll continue. Expect God to touch your life very soon.

Why should rape insurance be an entitlement? If my car is stolen, the governement doesn’t give me a new one, I have to pay for insurance in after tax dollars for that.

I think that forcing liberals to pay separate insurance policies for their sinful lifestyle choices is a great idea. There should be….
Separate Aids Policies
Separate Burning Man overdose insurance
Separate Ghetto welfare knifing insurance
Separate Yoga related injury insurance
and of course, separate insurance for any act of God (flood, tornado, tsunami) for supporting Obama.
