Amy Winehouse Found Dead (Amy Winhouse Dies at 27)
British singing sensation Amy Winehouse has been found dead. The singer renown for her haunting vocals and beehive hair was only 27.
The story of Amy Winehouse is a tragedy of young talent and promising career consumed by the vices of drug addiction. Amy Winehouse’s most popular song, Rehab, was about her addiction to drugs, alcohol and forelorn love to overcome many obstacles in her life.
Through the years we watched Winehouse deteriorate and wondered how much longer could the frail bodied woman continue her drug binges without great harm. Sadly, and before she could be reached for healing, she is now dead.
A London police statement said: ”Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.
“On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”
While foul play or self-harm could be involved, considering the track record of Winehouse and her age, it would not be surprising if drugs are involved in what is really a sad story and tragedy.
Young folks, stay away from the drug scene. It is full of seedy, dangerous characters and a substance that will lead you to do depraved things. I would know. Here is one of Winehouse’s performances of a really good and well performed song. Note that she is singing this live.

What’s really sad is that now we’ve lost another talented American convert singer to drugs, the media who profited so much from her vocals is now just laying it on thick, ripping on her appearance and just being plain nasty and mean. Who are these people?
Remember, that every person who dies from drug addiction was once the child of someone. And most likely, have family and friends who grieve them. We only new her on stage. But this is the face her mother and father, her family, know and remember in memory.

I was talking about the slumlords that rule Haiti. If you spent any time there, you would know EXACTLY what I meant. During my year of world travel and practicing medicine in third world nations, I met a Haitian national who had done work there after receiving his accedidation in the US. The horrors he described and the imagery rip at my mind. There is nothing rigth about that country and he warned me myself to not volunteer to go there. My favorite album is “Frank”. This was before Back in Black. Track 12 “Amy” is heavy on the double bass and she uses her talent like a musical instrument. Comment thread aside, I want to thank you for treating this subject with respect. When I saw Christwire had published an article about A. Winehouse, I feared that the satire would be so offensive so soon that I’d have to unsubscribe.
I was not particularly a fan of the woman, myself. Her single was groovy for what it was, but not my genre of preference…nonetheless, it is WAY too soon to start making fun; cause of death can be presumed, but is not yet proved, and that wouldn’t matter in any case. Real people who are still alive will grieve her passing for a long time to come, and they deserve respect, even if you don’t think the woman herself does….did…

She went to rehab so many times and she never wanted to take it seriously, or accepted to get some help. I knew that she would finish like that. You remember her last shows ?
