I am so sick and tired of you white people ruining good things. Black people can’t have anything nice because “you people” keep coming and stealing it.
First you stole black people from Africa, Then you stole our hard work and the Cotton Gin from us, then you stole Rock & Roll, then you and the Asians double teamed us and stole the black right out of Tiger Woods…oh but thanks for giving it back when when he started F’ing your white women. Then ya’ll ruin Obama’s presidency and now this.
You white people are so pissed off that we are good at sports…you gave us basketball, but when we started playing baseball and football ya’ll started freaking out. In the last decade black people have proven that they are the dominant force in football. More specifically being the quarterback.
Micheal Vick is the greatest quarterback of all time (GQOAT), ya’ll just couldn’t take it could you. You just couldn’t take it so you made up some crap about him fighting dogs and put his black ass in jail. I’ve known people that have killed people that didn’t go to jail for as long as he did.
Now that he is out, and kicking white ass again in arenas across the land, ya’ll had to go and defame his black ass again. That’s right! ESPN had to go and turn him into a whitey. I am sickened…I need a moment….
ESPN magazine has defamed the glorious black visage of Micheal Vick
…alright…This month, ESPN magazine wrote an article talking about Vick. It is written by a white man and talks about how black Vick is. It is the most racist piece of written word that I have read since the Jim Crow Laws in Black Studies in college. Just take a look at this:
Race is an undeniable and complex element of Vick’s story, both because of his style as well as the rarity of black QBs in the NFL. A decade after he became the first black QB to be drafted No. 1 overall, about one in five of the league’s passers is African-American, compared with two-thirds of all players. But after his arrest for dogfighting, so many people asked: Would a white football player have gotten nearly two years in prison for what Vick did to dogs?
This question makes me cringe. It is so facile, naive, shortsighted and flawed that it is meaningless. Whiteness comes with great advantages, but it’s not a get-out-of-every-crime-free card. Killing dogs is a heinous crime that disgusts and frightens many Americans. I’m certain white privilege would not be enough to rescue a white NFL star caught killing dogs.
My boy got 2 years! I knew a white boy back in the day that stuck a quarter stick of dynamite up a dogs ass and made it rain kibble and bits, and that white boy got 2 months community service. You wanna talk to me about Vick getting screwed because he was a successful black man? Shut your mouth white boy.
The dumb redneck hick that wrote this article goes on to say:
In making Vick white, you have him born to different parents. That alone sets his life trajectory in an entirely different direction. Thus when this hypothetical white Michael Vick … If Vick had been born to white parents, you wouldn’t even be reading this right now. That Vick would have had radically different options in life compared with the Vick who grew up in the projects of Newport News, Va., where many young black men see sports as the only way out.
I am so mad I want to shoot that white boy in the face right now. He reminds me of those crackers I met in college. You know the ones. The Anthropology majors that took African Studies and wanted to be your friend because they were so angry at their uppity middle class white parents who paid for their college in Cash money. They wanted to be friends with an “African American” to show how cool they were. I am a black PERSON…not a damned status item, you can take around to your hippie parties to show how cool you are. Although I will say that I did enjoy tapping that white hippie pu….anyway..back to my black rage…
Here’s another question: If Vick grew up with the paternal support that white kids are more likely to have (72 percent percent of black children are born to unwed mothers compared with 29 percent of white children), would he have been involved in dogfighting? I ask this not to look for an excuse but to explore the roots of his behavior. Vick’s stunningly stupid moral breakdown with respect to dogs is certainly related to the culture of the world he grew up in, which he says fully embraced dogfighting. But it’s also related to the household he grew up in.
OH HELL NO!
Vick’s father, Michael Boddie, was not a positive influence on him growing up. Boddie admitted to The Washington Post that he was a cocaine user and had been high and drunk around young Vick. He says he often prepared the family garage so Vick could have pit bull fights there. Boddie’s account is disputed by a family friend, who says Vick’s mother would not have allowed that. Either way, at some point in Vick’s youth, his father became estranged from the family. This breakdown of Vick’s paternal relationship is a pattern that’s all too common among black men of his generation. Too many are left to define manhood on their own, so they gravitate toward the most charismatic and inspiring men in their world. Sometimes those men are gritty local sports coaches who teach them the value of hard work, but sometimes they’re ghetto celebrities who are unsavory role models with bad habits.
Cracker, you don’t know me. So you are telling me just because I am black my daddy was smoking crack and playing craps in an alleyway somewhere? Oh white boy you better be glad Christwire wont allow me to use the language that I want to use here. You dumb racist idiot. I grew up middle class. I didn’t grow up in the hood. I went to school and so did my parents. My mother has a masters degree and works at a bank, my father has his Ph.D and works at a nuclear power plant. What do your parents do? They are probably plumbers that clean the crap out of the pipes at my office where I work, where I make 72,000 a year after taxes. You stupid fu…I need another moment…
Let’s see him as someone in the third act of the epic movie that is his life, leading a team that many expect to see in the Super Bowl. Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” is playing underneath because the humbled protagonist has finally overcome his personal demons and has begun living up to his athletic promise.
So we play the black music for the black guy that is proudly overcoming his personal demon…which is being black.
VICK IS A HERO, and we do not need your pasty white lies to tell us that he has overcome being black. Maybe one day you will overcome being white.
Vick as a black man, the way God made him.
