MY Chemical Romance is from your “Holy America”. New Jersey, to be exact. And America was birthed from Britain. So Britain is a tad bit important, don’t you think? Like a parent, almost.
The MCRmy is like the Christian community, actually. We’re close knit, always there to defends our idols, and kind. But unlike Christians, some of us chose to educate ourselves on the matter before saying absurd lies. As a pastor, I would’ve thought you’d do the same and learn about your “enemy”. The song isn’t evil by any means, just a tad bit morbid, like the Bible. (Jesus’ suffering. man. Gave me nightmares for weeks, no joke). It’s about remembering our fallen and showing we care.

About the self-harming. I have a little story. Once there was a 13-year-old girl who was barely making her way through the world. Everyone loved and accepted her. By 14 she realized she was gay. She kept it a secret in fear that she would be looked down upon. For 2 years she was able to keep it hidden (and even got a girlfriend), until she finally broke down in front of her parents. Worried, they took her to a Christian youth group. There, they terrorized her. Telling her she was wrong and deserved to die. Later she developed depression and took up self harm to deal with the abuse she got from people she thought would help. She left the group and went to therapy to help heal the mental wounds lashed upon her Christian “friends”. This is my story, and I am still part of the Christian church, in hopes of finding heaven.

This article proves why I hate sharing my religious views. Everyone thinks Christians are hate machines that are closed-minded.
My Chemical Romance is an American alternative rock band that has a gothic side but is not emo. The band’s founder Gerard Way says that emo music is garbage.
So the MCRmy in the UK wants their hit song to top the charts in their country, good for them. I like that song, actually, and find nothing satanistic about the lyrics. It’s not like any of the other bands on that chart have “Christian” lyrics. Most emo’s and the “homogays” you referred to don’t worship Satan. Get your facts straight. Britain is highly important, we wouldn’t have English or America without them. In fact, almost all of the American commenters wouldn’t have been here.
Since I know I’m going to be called a Satanist or nonChristian after this, don’t bother, Westboro church already does that to anyone against them.

Everyone has, whether it was in the same way I did or not, it’s still unavoidable. But here’s the thing; I learned from my mistakes and put those lessons into raising my kids. I’m sure you were rebellious and normal at one time, but you did not pay attention to the messages you were supposed to.

How dare you wear the title of pastor with such hatred toward the inoccent; it’s sickening. You don’t deserve your positition.
You are not doing what God wants; from what I’ve seen, everyone on this site who believes themselves to be high and mighty are so full of crap that it’s overflowing and spewing out of their mouths. I dare you to tell one more person that they are wrong for correcting you. They tried politely explaining your wrongs to you, but you asked for trouble. You need to open your eyes and face the light; America isn’t holy, Brittish people aren’t evil, bands aren’t demons, and your mother either did or could have raised you better.
