You know, it’s really offensive to call someone an it, or to have to ask/guess what gender they are. If you dont know what gender they are, then it makes you look unbelievably stupid to go up to someone and ask “are you male or female?”
I think its beautiful when people dress in a way that makes them look androgynous. But, looks aren’t the only way to determine gender. Chances are, if you watch a person’s body language, find out their name, or listen to them talk, you’ll be able to know.

It was tremendous fun, and the children all had a great laugh; but afterwards, we read from the Bible together and gave the children a serious sermon on the dangers of emosexuality! You really are not living out a Christian lifestyle by making fun of others. The Bible even says “Do unto others as you would have done unto you”. And that includes the emos, homosexuals, goths, punks, stoners, and non-believers. Why would God allow someone to hurt those who are made in his image? Here’s an idea. If you want to be right in God’s eyes, treat those he made right. You shouldn’t be so predgious against someone because of who they are. Between my parents, who are really religious (my mum is even a Methodist pastor), and multiple others, I’ve been told a dozen times over, along with every youth group I’ve ever gone to, that it doesn’t matter if someone is different from you. You need to treat them with the same respect that you desire. If you don’t, how can you expect others to treat you with respect. It simply shows to those around you how self-centered and rude you really are. For years I identified as Christian but it’s because of people like you that I’ve pulled myself away. You give a bad name to those who call themselves Christian and I was tired of being roped in while I, myself, have the dress of an emo, am pansexual, and have no problem expressing who I am. In 8th grade, I was even in a Christian band. Though now, all of us have realized what a terrible reputation we would have received if we did go public because having two emo kids in a band would be terrible in the eyes of self-rightous people like yourself who believe that you have God’s words poured into your ears from his lips directly.
