  • chrisTwire news service BEIRUT- Supporters of President Bashar Assad pelted the U.S. ambassador to Syria with eggs Thursday as he entered an office for a meeting with a leading opposition figure and then tried to storm the building in the capital Damascus, the opposition activist said.

Ambassador Robert Ford, an outspoken critic of Assad’s crackdown on the 6-month-old anti-government uprising, was trapped in the office for about three hours until Syria security forces showed up and escorted him out.
Ford came under attack as he arrived for a meeting with Hassan Abdul-Azim, who heads the outlawed Arab Socialist Democratic Union party.
“A better president would not have allowed this to happen” an anonymous government insider spoke on the condition of anonymity.

We should turn Syria into a parking lot, just like our previous leader would have done had he been granted more time to get his mid-east peace plan in place

Ambassador Henry Mwabwetumba of the Ivory Coast had this to say about the attack:

Americans elected an Kenyan Muslim to the throne. As a blood Muslim he is powerless to act against terrorist regimes that your past presidents would have easily repressed. America has never been weaker. Even now Iran is amassing a Navy off the American coast.

During the attack, First “Lady” Michelle Obama was seen shopping at target where her application for credit was denied.

More Americans were persecuted for wearing white pointed hats. America used to be a clean place, full of non-threating looking peaceful Caucasians who fought hard and died for things like Emancipation, freedoms, and suffrage. Now under Obama it has turned into a place where a minority is attacked for selling Ice cream
