  • KANSAS CITY, MO – A potential development in the case of Baby Lisa Irwin.  Three residents of Kansas City reported to authorities that they saw a very seedy looking man walking the streets with an infant on the same night that Baby Lisa Irwin, the precious 11-month-old little girl, disappeared.

One of the eye witnesses, a man named Mike Thompson, interviewed with “Good Morning America” and stated that at around 4:00 am, he was driving home on his motorcycle when he saw a man dressed in a t-shirt near the baby’s home.  “It was 4 o’clock in the morning, 45 degrees, the baby dno’t have a blanket or coat or nothing, and this guy’s walking down teh street.  I thought it was kind of weird.”

Such things are definitely very weird, especially at 4 a.m.

The man’s claims were questioned by the police, who were mainly wondering why he waited a week to come forward.  Thompson stated he did not immediately make the connection with Baby Lisa until seeing more media coverage on the case and associating what he saw.  And then the big development.

Two other reports from seperate eye witnesses confirm the same things that Thompson witnessed.

Thompson firmly believes he would be able to identify the man if he sees him again.

A female eyewitness reported the incident to the police immediately.  Her story matches that of Thompson.  The woman told ABC, “It was shocking because I couldn’t imagine anybody outside walking with their baby in the cold like that with no clothes on.”

Let’s continue to hope for the best outcome in this case.  The family is undergoing extensively tough media and public scorn with scrutiny, a child is missing and at the end of the day, we should all hope this resolves with two relieved parents being reunited with their beautiful baby girl.
