Major problem with this story, which was obviously from a non-American source: there are no 3D porno theaters, and there are barely any porno theaters left in the US at all. They’ve been on the decline since the first VHS porn tape and today the closest thing to a “porn theater” in most cities is a multi-seat wank room in a porn shop.
Which I know nothing about.

Also, fun fact: the DVD was made popular and affordable by the porn industry, which took advantage of the “multiple viewing angles” option, as well as the option to select scenes. You can thank porn for your DVDs!
Another fun fact: holographic disks were attempted, but abandoned. They would have had a capacity of over 100GB.
