Breaking News: Washington State University to Hire Joe Paterno as Head Football Coach

christTwire News Services- Washington State University has agreed in principle to hire football Coach Joe Paterno according to chrisTwire sources inside the Pac-12 conference offices. Coach Paterno was formerly head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1966-2011. He was recently dismissed for by Penn State after he failed to break an established chain of command regarding a report of sexual abuse of a minor.

Washington State University is hoping this change will re-invigorate a program that has hasn’t had a winning season in almost 10 years and has is 6-32 under current coach Paul Wulff. Paterno will bring a legacy of success to the Pullman Washington Campus. JoePa has an impressive resume, amongh his accomplishments:

His coaching duties are expected to take effect after Washington State plays in the Apple Cup Nov 26. This is the second big name hire for Washington State University athletics in as many years after Bill Moos was lured out of retirement last year

Recently Washington State University Football is best known for turning down prospect down prospect Kellen Moore Washington State University for not being large enough. Now as a senior, Kellen Moore leads the NCAA in wins with a 46-3 record and leads the nation in many statistical categories. During that same time, Washington State University football has won 7 games.
