    The Great American Book Burning

    • Now that we are well into fall and heading into winter, temperatures are starting to plummet. We as Christian Americans are spending more and more to heat our homes. With the economy as it is many of us are searching for alternative ways to bring heat and warmth into our homes and hearts. What better way is there to do that than by burning sinful books?

    Every year about this time I like to do it in my house. I go around to all of my friends and gather up all of the sinful literature that they have been reading this year. In the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s romance novels kept my house nice and toasty. But then they fell out of favor. There was a lull for the Xenu household, but then along came Harry Potter and then the Twilight books.

    So I go out and cull books for the burning. I look for books that are sinful or promote sin. Books (or magazines) that are about or encourage sex, witchcraft, or any other sin are perfect for the burning. I also look for books or magazines that promote unamericanism or counter culture views as well as any liberal or homogay agenda promoters. I will also be looking to burn lots of supposed literature on emo bands and emosexual culture. Let’s not forget of course, the perfect books to burn are about religions other than Christianity. This year I have procured a large stack of Qurans. God will be so pleased with us!

    So this year, I thought I would share my book burning with the rest of the world. Normally it is a quite affair at my house in front of the fire, just me and a few friends and family. But this year I will be sharing with you, the christwire.org family, readers and fans.

    So on December 17th I would like to invite you all to the Christwire offices in Atlanta, Georgia where we will have a giant book burning bonfire in the parking lot! Please bring appropriate books for fuel. For those of you on the sinful West coast I understand that the interns will be hosting a companion event at the Christwire Global Headquarters in California, on that day. So bring your sinful books, and maybe even some wienies and buns and we will cook out!

    If any of you have any fun ideas for books that need to be burned please post them in the comments section below. If any of the members know of books or magazines that need special identification please publish articles relating them to us! Let’s make this a fun and festive event to show the glory of our God in this special season.

      I will burn anything that doesn’t glorify him. And anyone who shows up to our local burning at the ranch and brings 3 or more books will receive a copy of “The Christwire Handbook” – also available online and in popular bookstores. Free cocoa too.

      If you’re looking to burn anything that’s harmful to God, you also need to burn the book called “Logic For Four Year Olds.” And of course don’t forget to burn “Common Sense Made Easy.”

      Why burn books, burn evil sinful bookshops full of homosexual lure for innocent young souls! Only leave enough so us adults can delve into researching what true evil is, because only then we know what we are fighting against (well we know the demon devil is our enemy but need to dig deeper to know what he looks like!) and are that much more efficient at purging with fatherly loving stiff powerful hand the rotten putrid evil homogay sin out of our chilren.

      Remember, purging the evil hurts us as much as it hurts our children, only in a different way, but we do it anyway, and with gusto, because we know what is good for our children: God, and His immense light and glory.

      Books are an important part of our society. They show how things work, they teach us things, the inspire us, and most importantly they fuel the imagination. Books are what separate us from the animals. Burning them will only send us back to the dark ages.
