Black Veil Brides: The Real Deal
I am writing this article because people need to understand that Black Veil Brides send out a positive message, not a negative one.
Let’s look at the song “Knives and Pens” first. This song tells the story of Andy Biersack’s (Not Beersack’s)childhood. Andy Biersack was bullied throughout his school years, in “Knives and Pens” he talks he talks about a choice he had to make; to harm himself (knives) or to take up writing for his emotions (pens). There is nothing about worshiping the devil, it is about standing up for yourself and making the choice that is so difficult for so many teenagers.
Black Veil Brides have an extremely close relationship with their fans. They acknowledge the fact that without us they wouldn’t be where they are today. They make sure we know that we are what makes them them, and they will always be there to help us through whatever we are feeling.
Today I asked a group of people how Black Veil Brides has affected their life, these are some of the answers I received:
“They’ve effected my life because there music saved me and taught me to never give in.” – Bryanna A.

“Black Veil Brides has helped me realize that I don’t need to fit in anywhere to truly belong. “BVB stands for those who don’t have a voice. They help those who are outcasted,thrown away,beaten,scarred mentally/physically or judged because they are not the ‘norm’. They have inspired me to resurrect my band from the ashes of what happened several years ago and work my way to my dreams of being in a rock band no matter what the odds. I have been beaten down so many times and thanks to their lyrics I have grown stronger than ever before. Never give in and never back down! To those who say that they are satanic have not done their research and are afraid of people who are different. yes I wear makeup and I enjoy putting it on to express myself regardless of what any hater says. I stand up for myself against anyone including my family cause they gave me something to believe in myself and for that I remain a loyal fan for life and hope to one day be called one of their friends.” – Catastrophic Chris

These people are just a few of the many helped by this band, yet they are torn down because of it constantly. They don’t give up though, because they know that they can “Never Give In.”

Also, none of them are homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, nor asexual, they are all heterosexual men. though it doesn’t really matter what sexuality or gender they are, it’s all about the message they give.

It is not unreasonable since it is the truth, and it isn’t influenced by the devil. I chose to post it here because I have something called freedom of speech, that means that I can stand up for what I believe in. I have plenty of friends at school, in fact nearly all of them have read this article and completely agree with me.
