This is an article that I’ve been thinking about writing for a long time. I realize now that I need to write this. I recently talked to my friend that is homosexual, and he told me to go for it. First of all, I am Bisexual. That means I am attracted to both males and females.
    Th most common sexual orientations:
Homosexual- being attracted to the same gender as yourself
Heterosexual- being attracted to the opposite gender
    Bisexual- attracted to both genders
Pansexual- attracted to any branch of the gender spectrum (this includes transgenders)
    Asexual- liking no gender

Now I’ll like to talk about the most common misconception about Homosexuality/Bisexuality/Pansexuality is that it’s a choice. You’re sexuality is not a choice. No, it isn’t a choice and you need to realize that. I never said to myself that I was going to be attracted to females too, I just am. The same goes for my friend, he never decided to be attracted to men he just is. You can’t become a homosexual, you just are. You can try to become not homosexual, but you’ll fail.
Some of you want to know what do do if your child tells you they’re Homosexual. What you do is accept them. You can try to beat them until they become Heterosexual, but it won’t work. You can try to pray until the become Hetersexual, but it won’t work. If you find out that one of their classmates are Homosexual, you don’t need to worry. You can’t “catch gay.”
Also, I know some of you are confused about my religious beliefs, so I’m going to clear that up. I don’t consider myself to be any religion. I go to a Christian church, but I don’t call myself Christian. I believe that you aren’t judged by what you call yourself, you’re judged by what your beliefs are and your worship. A horse can call himself a cat, but he’s not a cat. It’s the same when it comes to religion. An Atheist can call themselves Catholic, but they aren’t Catholic. You can say you’re a good Christian when you’re not.
