  • Ron Paul, doctor, congressman and Republican hopeful for the Presidential nomination, abruptly ended a CNN interview when [REDACTED] controversial topics in some of his early campaign pamphlets were posed to the good doctor. The pamphlets, nearly 20 years old, can hardly be considered indicative of his current leadership abilities. The [REDACTED] pamphlets do represent the views of [REDACTED] people that as president he would need to protect from free speech hate. It’s hard out there for the [REDACTED] knighted defenders of the 1st Amendment.

The reporting on the [REDACTED] event has laid great blame on Mr. Paul, but reveals the hypocrisy of the [REDACTED] forth estate, or MSM, to devour the opinions of the masses as krill within the great white whale and excrete it dismissively on the ocean floor of public discourse unless it is useful to them. It seems as if Dr. Paul’s remarks are suitable for preservation and display. The MSM proudly hoisting a big jar of [REDACTED] and shouting, “Look what I found!” If one thing can be gleaned from the recently published quotes, it is that there are some very angry, [REDACTED] , opinionated people in the world and that makes many people [REDACTED] uncomfortable.

“If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.” – Ron Paul, 1992

“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.” – Ron Paul, 1992

“We don’t think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.” – Ron Paul, 1992

This manufactured outrage over 20 year old transcripts, no doubt plotted together on [REDACTED] and facsimiled on belt driven, diesel fueled copiers, is a pale shadow of the potential found on the Democrat invented [REDACTED]. To believe that one can simply brush away hate with judicious editing or deletion is folly. [REDACTED] The opinion remains, and the people that hold them still vote, hold office and make decisions that impact everyone’s life. That’s real freedom, isn’t it?

It is the nature of humans to discern and assign value to the events, people and representatives we select for public office. The question becomes one of which can do more harm, the Devil you know or the [REDACTED] Devil you cannot see?
