A name is forever. How you name your child sets the course for their entire lives. A name can be something to be proud of or ashamed of.
The naming of a child is a most profound spiritual moment. They say that naming a baby is a statement of her character, her specialness, and her path in life. For at the beginning of life we give a name, and at the end of life a “good name” is all we take with us.
Recently, Msn-lifestyle did a report on which names were the most unattractive and attractive. The results were somewhat predicable. Names like Alexander, Peter, Mark, and Emma were attractive. Names like Kevin, Chantal, Claire, and Marvin were deemed undesirable.
This left us asking, if you can predict someone’s attractiveness with a name, can you also predict failure with the name? So we set out to find this out. Thanks to a grant from the Foundation for a Better Tomorrow, an ambitious research project was undertaken.
Here are the names most likely to doom your child to failure.
