John Parr – the British musician behind the Grammy-nominated hit “St. Elmo’s Fire” – reworked the song from the Demi Moore film as a tribute to the Denver Broncos quarterback.

In “Tim Tebow’s Fire,” Parr sings, “I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin’ sky. I’ll be where the eagle’s flyin’ higher and higher. Gonna be a man in motion, all I needs my Broncos team. Take me where my future’s lyin,’ Tim Tebows Fire.”

“I was inspired by Tim Tebow, so I wanted to modify the lyrics … in his honor of the way that he lives his life as being a great example,” Parr told FOX31 Denver on Monday.

Parr originally performed the version dedicated to Tebow, 24, on ESPN in October and later released a full studio version.

Side note – We will be featuring fans who send in pictures of themselves Tebowing in order to build up the Tebow spirit and help the Broncos destroy Tom Brady. Share your pictures on our wall or send them to the Holymailbox. The ‘most liked’ Tebowing picture will receive 1 authographed copy of the handbook and a $20 Amazon gift certificate. Entries must be received before the Broncos game.
