Also, the LION is clearly being silly and playful. Cats AND dogs do that kind of stuff all the time. They use their paws to bat at things or move them. Such as a rubber ball. My Yellow Lab mix does this along with my kitten I had a few years ago named Sassy. Get your animal facts straight and watch The Animal Planet or Lion King (the first one) some time.

I was so angry I could not even think of a name to call the beast, Claire. Here this child may now face psychological trauma unknown, resurfacing years later after she is a good mother with a good husband and father.
Maybe repressed memories of a lion trying to eat her will cause her to have an affair. Maybe she will just throw her kids into a lion’s den. We can just never know.
The best course of action is to have her face down her fear now, before it surfaces. The poor girl is in such shock that she does not even react, it’s like reality warped for her in that moment.
If they let her sit down at a safe place, while she watched a group of ‘wildlife professionals’ put a slut in this cat’s head, I think it would help her healing process and let her know the big, bad monster cannot get her. It would heal any potential rifts in her psyche and give her a better shot at a normal life the future.
