Ann Romney Wants to “Strangle the Media” For Reporting Truth About Mitt Romney

Shocking new reports from Michigan, where Mitt Romney’s Mormon wife has stated she wants to strangle all of us media for how we cover Mitt Romney.

In a estrogen-laced diatribe, Ann Romney vowed to censor the press and only allowed hand-picked members of the press corps onto the Romney campaign bus. If Romney does make it to the White House, will this fascist type behavior continue?

Ann Romney needs to realize the press can be gentle one moment, then blistering like a howling storm the next. We are not easy on Obama. We were not even easy on America’s greatest leader of the new millenia, President Bush. The job of the press is to hold everyone’s feet to the fire and make them answer the American people. And with our questions, that’s what we do.

    Scott,

I appreciate your views on women in leadership positions. Sometimes too much estrogen can lead to poor decision making, but in this case I think Mrs. Romney is only a pawn carrying out orders.

The fourth estate should have free and unfettered access to the candidate, but a clear understanding that what once was a noble profession of reporting has become a foray into the oblique subjectivism nurtured in part by reality TV and the twitters.

I am sometimes aghast by the political reporting that focuses on the type of waters offered to political reporters or the smell of the campaign bus. Where the press, or fourth estate, should concentrate on the value of a candidate’s position they seem more focused on the seating arrangements or their own perceptions.

I think it was wise to use Mrs. Romney as the air horn to these fakers of journalism. A well vetted press corps gives the American public a more clear understanding of a candidate.

    Kind regards,
    BB
