Lando Calrissian Dead at 75 due to Suicide.
In a galaxy far far away called the early 1980’s Lando Calrissian was famous. He had stared in the three Star Wars movies and was a big name. He had left the black music show that he had started in the 1970’s called Soul Train, for the bright lights of Hollywood. But those bright lights always dim with time.

Today around 4am police found his dead body in his house in Sherman Oaks California. Celebrity news site TMZ is reporting that it is suicide. Mr. Calrissian has had many health issues over the years, as well as a nasty divorce, in which he stated “”finalize this divorce before I die.”Mr. Calrissian (or simply, Lando as he is known to the worlds geeks) is best known for staring as Donni Cornelius in the first three Star Wars movies. As he partied off his Star Wars money he soon turned to Malt Liquor. First as a Spokesman and then as a customer.
Colt 45, used him as their spokes person through out most of the 1980’. Although when recently interviewed by the Phoenix News he admitted “I’m not really a beer drinker. No one’s going find any Colt 45 in my fridge, no.So far there is no word on why exactly he killed himself.

During better times, times of plenty, plenty malt liquor.

I think this Lando Calrisian is good roll model for the young black folk. They should really emulate his life, especially his final decisions

First off, Lando is his character in Star Wars. Second, the guy, Billy Williams, is still alive. Third, are you saying you want the “young black folk” to kill themselves?

I didn’t say that. I mean how he turned away from his Malt liquor addiction. What kind of sick thing would make you think i would mean that

RIP, Lando, black youth will mourn today. You have inspired many Afro-Saxons to pursue acting and lessen up on their drug usage, so kudos for fixing that problem so that our taxes don’t have to!

Lando Calrissian is a character. Characters are not real. The actor who played Lando is still alive.

I think I just saw this guy in a Gary Busey movie from the 1980s. I loved Busey when he was clean cut and played military heroes. He was an amazing actor!

A) You are talking about Don Cornillius.
B) Lando is a Star Wars character. The man’s name is Billiy Williams
C) Billy Williams was never on soul train because soul trian was a show for fucking muscicians.

Sadly, another human being has fallen victim to the lure of liberal hollywood and it’s empty promises of happiness through drugs, lust, and greed. There is no possibility of salvation in that heathen town.

You’ve got them confused again. Emmanuel Lewis (the actor who played Webster in the show of the same name) is still alive. Gary Coleman died in 2010.

If I may correct some false information from both the article and the comment section:
1. Lando Calrissian is the name of the character in Star Wars, not a real person.
2. Lando was played by Billy Dee Williams, an actor who is still alive.
3. Lando was not in all 3 of the original Star Wars movies for Lando was not introduced until “Star Wars: Episode V-The Empire Strikes Back.
Here is a history of Billy Dee Williams’ appearances: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001850/
Mr. Billings: The only movie I can recall with both Gary Busey and Billy Dee Williams is “Steel Sharks”. Are you refering to that movie?
Ms(?). Beecham: Lando Calrissian was in Star Wars, Not Star Trek. If by “cafe” you’re refering to the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina scene (Where the “weird” band is playing) Lando was not in the film yet
Mr. Weisz: Apollo Creed was a fictional boxer in the Rocky movies. Played by Carl Weathers (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001835/)
Mr Nelson: Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Apollo Creed are not the same person (Considering the fact Apollo Creed is fictional)
Ms. Xenu: Webster is a name of a fictional character, a character played by Emmanuel Lewis, an actor who is still alive. Gary Coleman, however, has passed on.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way. Allow me to introduce myself. You may call me Ouroboros and I shall be joining this little strife.

Lando Calrissian is a character from TWO Star Wars movies not three. He was played by the actor, Billy Dee Williams who is still alive by the way and is 74 at the moment. and did in fact do that commercial you have linked to and interview with Phoenix News.
The creator of Soul Train is called Don Cornelius who does not share a name of a Star Wars Character. That is the person you have posted a picture of. His name is also given in the article you have included. He did in fact commit suicide.
Susan, you’ve gone and mixed up two different people. You’ve also confused an actor with a character he played.
