NBA All Star 2012 Slam Dunk Competition (In Phantom HD)
Even though the 2012 Slam Dunk competition was very boring this year, the NBA’s broadcast of them is quite sweet. The NBA busted out the new Phantom HD technology which allows us to watch every single dunk in super-slow motion, high-definition. This is pretty epic stuff.
Imagine if the book of Revelation gets made into a movie and has scenes shot like this. The possibilities are endless, especially if Kirk Cameron is directing. And with the idea of Kirk Cameron trying to dunk a basketball, I think we pretty much summarize the ‘thrill’ factor of these dunks. But again, it’s Phantom HD. Enjoy.

Brother Mike I have to agree 100% with you. Slo-mo is a bore and takes the energy out of the game. To hold the attention of viewers the game, or in this case dunks, must be delivered at normal speed for us to appreciate the athlete & the sport.

I was happy to hear that the nba slam dunk competition wasn’t a farce because all the great nba dunk stars were at the competition but I’m wondering where the Labron James, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffen, and Dwight Howard highlights are.
