(chrisTwire)—The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation revealed Tuesday it was cutting funds to Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood is a liberal organization which uses American taxpayer money to provide “family planning” which really means is free abortions for all. While millions of Americans spend over a billion dollars a year on medical practices tying to conceive, while dreaming of having a family they aren’t capable of having for medical reasons, planned parenthood performs over a quarter million Abortions every year in more than 800 “clinics” nationwide.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is the most widely known, largest, and best-funded breast cancer organization in the US. It is well known for being a good steward of its donators funds and is well respected worldwide. Since its inception in 1982, Komen has invested nearly $2 billion for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, health services and social support programs in the U.S., and through partnerships in more than 50 countries. Today, Komen has more than 100,000 volunteers working in a network of 124 affiliates worldwide. As of March 2011, Komen is listed on Charity Navigator with the site’s highest rating of four stars. According to the Harris Interactive 2010 EquiTrend annual brand equity poll, Komen is one of the most trusted nonprofit organizations in America
The major breast cancer research group cut funds to the prominent “family planning” organization after Planned Parenthood has come under increasing scrutiny from Congress over how it provides abortion services. The Komen Foundation gave few details on the reasons behind the decision, attributing the announcement to “changes in priorities and policies” and the need to fully advance its mission.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is a private non-profit and is well within its rights to spend its money searching for a cure for breast cancer, something experts say it does very efficiently.
Since the decision, Liberal congressmen Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) both criticized and revoked their support for Komen in speeches in Congress. In addition, liberals and atheists on social media sites are crying foul and spreading hate and misinformation about the Cure organization.
Really, does this picture being passed around social media and emails make liberals feel good about themselves?
It’s time we stand by our better halves and ignore the political motivations. Stand by Susan G. Komen for the Cure and make a donation today!

They get so worked up that a non-profit that is working to help breast cancer awareness has the decency to stop funneling money to their favorite baby killing organization and now they’re revoking their support in droves possibly leading to an indirect increase in breast cancer rates.

1. we don’t want to end the charity we just want them to keep giving to planned parenthood
2. abortion isn’t killing a baby unless its late term, its not a baby until it has a that functions, until then its just a cluster of cells and is not at all sentient, it has less humanity than an animal for the first few months. but late term abortions are wrong, and that is why they are rarely done
3. planned parenthood only has 3% of their services go to abortions
the rest is family counseling and providing condoms.
4. why dont they try donating to a cancer besides breast cancer, of all the cancers there are much worse ones that affect much more people.

August that was a enlightening read thank you for this story. Its sickening today to see women working in lifelong career positions, voting and being so deeply involved with the politics of this country. Planned Parenthood provides other services that abortions. They provide women’s healthcare services to many women who would otherwise have no access to medical care. Personally, while I was in college, they were the only place I could afford to go for my yearly checkup once I was no longer covered on my parent’s health insurance.
By saying all they do is provide termination of pregnancy is false and misleading. If abortion is the course of action a woman decides to take, it is far better to have on by a reputable doctor than in some back alley.
