Secret Diary of an Emosexual
Today, while giving my early morning sermon at my congregation, a concerned parent asked me to investigate his daughter’s dairy. Apparently it was riddled with Satan. Upon inspection, I found it contained months and months of Emosexual behavior and Satanic rituals (very similar) inscribed within. After the daughter was strongly reprimanded, I feel it necessary to share these horrors, and make sure that none of this sinful content is hidden away in Christian households.

I’ve been a Christian, monsuier. I live in a religious household. First of all: Real Merican. What the biscuits is a “real American”? As opposed to a fake American, you mean? One that’s not superficial, or one that meets all YOUR peoples’ standards? When I think of a so-called real American, I think of America and what it was really supposed to be about in the first place.
American is not an ethnicity or anything of the like, nor does it have a specific required ethnicity or holidays that only decent “real American” people will celebrate. That’s kind of why America was created. So people could celebrate their differences somewhere safe, where people wouldn’t judge them, because EVERYONE was there to protect the right to be an individual. So regardless of how long your family has been in America, or how much you think you behave like a true American, every American is a “real American”. I mean, the country was founded on EQUALITY, people. Stick by it. People are people, and all Americans and people are equal and all Americans reserve the legal right to be able to express themselves. Where’s the morality, people? Where’s your soul? Your humanity?
It’s a person’s own choice who they are. You can’t do anything about it. You can force them to dress or act a certain way, but you will never be able to force them to change how they think or how they really feel inside. They choose to be atheist, they choose to be homosexual, they choose to belong to a subculture. They just want to be an individual, be their own person. They want to lead their own life the way they want: by being true to themselves. And isn’t that all God could ever want for his children, so long as they aren’t harming themselves or anyone else?
I doubt any of you extremists even know what it truly means to be Emo. It’s not how you dress, it’s not your hairstyle, it’s not about cutting yourself, and it’s most certainly not about Satanic rituals–which Emos do not even do, as they are not Satanic. And neither, by the way, is Black Veil Brides, which you would know if you had ever listened to their songs or read their lyrics, which you so obviously haven’t. They sing about things like being different, embracing those differences, and being true to oneself.
Anyway, being Emo is about how you feel and think, much like many other subcultures. You are sad, you feel pain. I know what it’s like to suffer. Goth, Scene, Emo, Punk, and such, are very different, and people often mix them up or believe Satanic stereotypes about them–including many who claim to follow those subcultures themselves. Get educated or don’t bother saying anything at all, because you’ll look even more ignorant then you already do to the people who know what they’re talking about.
Furthermore, the people who say God hates all these things? He doesn’t. He has no anger, He has no hate. He discarded all of that long ago. He loves all his children. What happens to them in life is not necessarily His doing, just fate. He would not disable a life that has not yet even had a chance to truly begin, and He does not always cause the undoings of people. Why would He hurt so many innocents? He does not always control what people do. Do you think He weld create a life just to condemn it without reason? No. He simply separates the good from the bad, and sends them on their way once their choices have been made.
Satanic this, Satanic that. People don’t have to be Satanic to be gay or Emo or anything, you know. And they can’t be Satanic if they’re not even religious, which some of them may not be.
I’m not even religious and I can understand that. So how come so many of you can’t?

I already mentioned errors in a prrior response to “Real Merican” but I’ll say this. It’s wrong from the man to have read his teenage daughter’s diary in general. That is her personal space, a place to vent and express her thoughts in possibly eloquently shaped sentences and explain how her day has gone. If he thought his daughter was in trouble, be it with substance abuse, cutting, or possible suicide, he should have reported such to the police, not the local priest. What can a priest do, other than shove beliefs down one’s throat. The police could give her actual help.

I have been sent to the hospital, by police, after my parents found out I was suicidal in 9th grade. I have friends who are in rehab right now, overcoming addictions to illegal drugs. I know first hand how it works.
And by the way, when my kids are teens, I’ll be understanding to an extent but when things go haywire, I’ll have my doubts. If things continue, or I find evidence of self injury, hard drug use (anything other than marijauna), or suicidal tendencies, I’ll confront them. If it continues, that’s when the authorities will get involved. I’m learning from my parents mistakes (and my own) and don’t have any intent on ratting my kids out

I wear alot of make up, I attend Church on a regular basis. I am a baptised Christian, and I’ve grow up in a Christan family. I chose to be baptised at the age of 14. I also listen to Black Veil Bride, Falling in Reverse, Escape the Fate, Bullet for my Valentine and many other GREAT artists. I don’t do drugs, smoke, drink. Nor do I worship the devil. I have a mother who loves me, beause I am the way I am. I also have two loving God Parents, (whom are both Preists). And yes, they also love me,. Ever bit of me.
