    Whitney Houston Dead at 48

Finally, loud mouthed 80s and 90s R&B star Whitney Houston is dead. She is best known for marrying Bobby Brown, ruining Dolly Pardon’s song “I Will Always Love You” and doing crack rock cocaine. Today she is dead at only 48 years of age.

Houston’s publicist Kristen Foster said today that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unclear.

Among her hits are “How Will I Know,” “Saving All My Love for You” and “I Will Always Love You.” She won multiple Grammys including album and record of the year. Her success even carried her into movies like “The Bodyguard.” But after years of drug use, her record sales plummeted and her voice became raspy and hoarse.

Her looks went from dark and lovely to dark and haggard. She went from being a star to looking like the scary woman on the bus that you don’t want to sit next to. If only Brother Bruce could have found her and sat next to her, bringing the love of Christ into her world.
