Cancer Warning: Coke And Pepsi Change Recipe

Coca-Cola and Pepsi are now being accused of changing their recipes to avoid being forced to label their product with a cancer warning on the label.

This startling news may come as a surprise for many who consume these beverages on a daily basis, but then again not many peole know that the caramel coloring in Pepsi and Coca-Cola contain 4-methlyimidazole. In California, this chemical has been indentified as a carinogenic, or cancer-inducing, compound.

When reached for comment, a spokeswoman for Coca-Cola issued a statement. Diana Garza-Ciarlante, a spokeswoman for Coca-Cola: “While we believe that there is no public health risk that justifies any such change, we did ask our caramel suppliers to take this step so that our products would not be subject to the requirement of a scientifically unfounded warning.”

Reproduced studies showing a link between 4-methlyimidazole’s direct relationship with incidence of cancer in rats and mice upon exposure resulted in the label identification requirement placed on the two soda giants. While naturally no studies have been done on humans, research may one day reveal existing human cancer cases were related to soda consumption.

This shocking news comes on the heels of other reports where we found Pepsi was trying to become the new gay cola, and was worknig with Obama to manipulate the mind of America’s young voters.
