Obituary: Johnathan Bane
Johnathan Bane, 53, of Augora Hills, California died while attending church services on Sunday, March 25, 2012. The cause of death was suffocation; Johnathan received the holy Eucharist wafer during Sunday morning’s service which became lodged in his windpipe and cut off oxygen. Johnathan was born on September 13, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Richard and Julia Bane. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his brother Frank; and children Kevin Alan Bane, and Mary Jo Bane-Warren, and four grandchildren. Johnathan served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and moved to Augora Hills in 1989 where he and Barbara raised their family. From 1999 through 2009 Johnathan was doing ministry work in Uganda. Johnathan had recently worked as an investigative journalist for the conservative Christian network Christwire. Johnathan’s life will be celebrated at the Augora Hills Christian Community Church at 10355 Cottage Way, Augora Hills at 8:00 P.M. on Friday March 30, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. also at the Augora Hills Christian Community Church, followed immediately with internment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Augora Hills.

I can prove evolution, and it has been proven, the proof is in the fossils, it can even be observed in cells, you dont have to take my word for it, do some research, read this article below. I dont believe nothing matters, these are my beliefs not yours so stop saying I believe this when I dont. And I can prove there is no hell, because it is impossible for there to be any organic life form that far into earth because the magma would completely burn it. No string theory and the big bang havent been proven YET but they are still the most likely explanations tessaracts and the creation of the universe so if I have to chose an explanation, I choose those.

Jonathan Bane was the first person to welcome me to the ChrisTwire Flock. This news hangs heavy on my soul. I pray for his family, yet I’m also glad that he’s bathing in Jesus’ holy light.

Though I never met Mr. Bane, from all the love & compassion I’ve seen here at chrisTwire since we received word yesterday of this man’s untimely passing I can honestly say I would have liked to have gotten to know him.

You will be missed Brother Bane. You were a man filled with the gutsy, rebellious spirit of Christ.
A quick story: I remember meeting Johnathan at a Christian Reading & Worship convention in Las Vegas. Boy was he a hoot. He really was passionate about Jesus. There was a group of Chinese tourists that accidentally wandered into the convention & by God if Brother Bane didn’t spot them instantly. He was rabid with Jesus’ good word. He converted the whole flock… Even going as far as to bless their tour buses for them before they left! They walked in sinners & left Christians. His legacy will be remembered.
All of us at the Chris†wire Fellowship loved you… May you rest in peace in God’s loving arms, my friend…
I will do my best to take up some of the heavenly slack you leave behind.

While I didn’t know him, or have any contact with him, it is sad to hear that someone dies at a younger age. May he rest in peace and may God give him a home in Heaven, even if the life he lived on Earth was one of hate, for he still loved the Lord and that is all that matters

I join with so many others who knew Jonathan in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
